• Switching to Free - 5 October 2022

  Mars Flight VR will be switching to Free to Download from October 20th, 2022.

• Ingenuity photos update - 7 June 2021

  A minor update which adds some of Ingenuity's photos from the first six flights. Also, Perseverance rover has been moved to the correct landing site.

• HOTAS update - 6 August 2020

  This update adds support for HOTAS or Flightstick controllers. Any Flightstick with a twist-rudder and throttle input should work. Full patch notes: Added preliminary HOTAS support. Added option to reset VR camera position. Pause menu improvements.

• Update - Music options - 16 July 2020

  Patch notes: Added music options to pause menu. You can choose to have music always on, music playing only during races or photography missions, or always off. Updated engine to Unity 2019.4.4f1 LTS. Updated Rewired (third party input system) - Updated Xbox One Controller definition for breaking changes caused by Windows 10 2004 update on Windows Standalone and Windows UWP platforms with Raw Input and Direct Input with Use XInput disabled.

• Dust Storm Update - 3 July 2020

  This update adds the ability to toggle a martian dust storm. Pause the game and select 'Dust Storm On' from the pause menu to see what the visibility would be like in a typical martian dust storm. There is also a fix for a bug which could cause the controller to become unresponsive in the main menu.

• Available now! - 4 June 2020

  Mars Flight VR has launched into Early Access, you can buy it now for 30% off during launch week. The game currently requires a gamepad (such as an Xbox or PS4 controller) to fly, however support for Flightsticks and VR controllers is coming soon. Please post in the steam forums if you have any requests for hardware support or control schemes.

• Early Access release - June 4th - 22 May 2020

  Mars Flight VR will be available to buy on June 4th. We will be adding lots of new content during early access and we welcome feedback from players. Please post your suggestions or feedback in the steam forums.
