  Greetings fellow tablets, KUNAI came out three weeks ago and we can’t thank you enough for playing the game, sharing your love for Tabby, reporting bugs, creating fanart and speedrunning like a true ninja! We're currently working on our first patch which will have a lot of bugfixes (including the going out of bounds due to the charge attack, sorry about that ːsteamfacepalmː) and improves the overall experience of playing the game! It's been a lot of fun seeing all the fanart popping up over the past month so we figured we'd highlight some! • Kunai proves anyone can be a ninja, even an iPad - 13 March 2019

  I am a simple creature, easily amused by flashing lights and bleepy noises, so I’m always up for a good metroidvania. Bonus points if it has some clever-looking movement tricks, bouncy mid-air combat and it’s just icing on the cake if there’s a grappling hook, too. Kunai , from TurtleBlaze, looks like it ticks each and every one of those boxes, plus the hidden bonus one of having a fun setting. A post-apocalyptic, post-human world populated by weird robots made out of junk. Protagonist Tabby may have the soul of a warrior, but he has the face of an iPad. • Save humanity in this side-scrolling action-platformer about a touchscreen ninja - 13 March 2019

  Kunai is a tablet-powered side-scrolling ninja parkour hack-and-slash open-world Metroidvania, and when I say "tablet-powered" I don't mean that it's played on a tablet. (This is PC Gamer, after all.) I mean that the lead character, for reasons I don't fully (or even begin to) understand, is literally a tablet.  Tabby, as our touchscreen warrior is properly named, must save what remains of humanity from extinction at the hands of an out-of-control AI by running, jumping, grappling, and chopping an assortment of evil consumer electronics into small component bits.
