Hey everyone! I’ve got some exciting news to announce as Alluna and Brie Re-Tentacled is now available as a free upgrade to everyone who purchased the original game! I’ve been wanting to release a definitive edition of Alluna and Brie for years now, and after the successful launch of Robotic Battle Maiden I’ve learned a lot about how the engine works and how I can make improvements. I took everything I learned from RBM and used it to update Alluna and Brie, and I threw in some extra content in the form of new boss fights too! I always felt that Alluna and Brie was a great game and I was extremely happy with the story and the amount of content, but the systems connecting everything together weren’t great. - Alluna and Brie Re-Tentacled - Available Now! - 4 March 2024
Hey everyone! This is just a brief announcement as I'm still putting together assets for the Steam page, but I've soft launched Alluna and Brie Re-Tentacled! This free update completely rebalances the game and makes major changes to all of the game's systems. I'll have a much bigger blog post in a few days, but the update is ready and available to play now! And best of all, it's free! And there's some new bosses too! The original version of Alluna and Brie is still available as a beta branch, and I'll post some instructions on how to access that as save games from the original are NOT compatible with ReTentacled. They'll still work, but levelling has been completely rebalanced so you'll either be really overlevelled or completely underlevelled. I highly recommend starting over, and the load times and dungeon size have been reduced massively so it won't take you as long to get back to wh…
