- Welcome to the Garnival - Anthology Edition Major Update - 31 December 2021
Hello everyone, and Welcome to the Garnival! This major update brings many bug fixes to Consolation: Board Meeting- but also major additions to the game itself. The first major change was to the game's name. The edition title was changed from Jam Edition to Anthology Edition in order to better accommodate the future of the game and my vision for it. With this in mind, the reason for the word Anthology is that Board Meeting will not exclusively be one form of gameplay. Rather, it will be an anthology of different isolated tales conveyed through varying types of multiplayer game modes. The original mode was a Tabletop game, and the new mode is a PvP Slasher game. Wouldn't you know it?! Consolation: Board Meeting is a tabletop game, in a virtual world! This means that our game is eligible to participate in the Steam Digital Tabletop Fest 2021 event! It was very fortunate that this event would land so close to the game's Steam release. However, as this game is constantly being improved- I thought I should update the game for any potential new players that the event brings in (The patch notes will be specified below). To commemorate this event, there will be scheduled Livestreams over the course of the event this weekend, as well as times to chat, stream, and play with the developer! Welcome aboard prospective employees, to the first major update in Consolation: Board Meeting - Jam Edition! This update brings TONS of needed, and awesome features that the first couple of days of testing with the Steam audience has opened our eyes to.
