- Game engine update - 7 September 2024
Hello everyone, I have updated the game engine ( UE 4.27 ) and this should fix those Wind 11 crashes. But, because the DLC functionality relied on a old plugin, this is causing problems if you want to play the game with the DLC enabled. So, I have created another branch, called "old_game_and_dlc" and on that branch you can load the old version of the game, that is compatible with the DLC. On the main, default branch, you can load the new game version, with Wind 11 compatibility. On the main branch, you need to DISABLE the DLC in order for the game to launch. To change branches, check this guide: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=487242306 . I have asked Steam to remove the DLC from the store ( players who already own it will still be able to play it ) in order to minimize confusion and streamline the process of playing the game. - Bug Fix and optimization Update - 24 October 2019
Hey everyone, Today's update brings the latest bug fixes and optimization to the game. Now, the game should load faster and be lighter on memory ( RAM and VRAM). But, I had to change the folder structure a bit, and this will cause a heavy download for the update ( in my case it was around 800 MB ). Bug fixes: Aiko's events were not showing in the Free Mode. In some cases, the inventory didn't work after loading a saved game. This should conclude this project. Maybe I will do another DLC in a couple of months, as I still have many ideas for more plots, but for the moment I need to focus on the other game that I have started. I am hoping to bring it to EA in 2-3 months from now. Thank very much for your support and I hope you will enjoy Cyndy! P.S. If you do find any other bugs, please report them and I will fix them ASAP.
