• BIG UPDATE: 6 NEW LANGUAGES ADDED - 29 May 2026

  In today's big update v2.0.0 we have added these 6 all new languages:-Dutch-Portuguese-Polish-Turkish-RomanianThis means that you can play on these 6 new languages, as the game adds them as new dictionaries and of course as full game translations. We also enabled words to be written with 2 joker letters We know how unfortunate it was to have 2 joker letters and not being able to use them in one word.This is now fixedWe also enabled new mode for typing words when using joysticksFor our console players we enabled the long waited stick typing, where you drag your letters with the left/right stick.Cheers

• BIG UPDATE!!! - 18 December 2023

  Hey folks! In Todays big update we improved many aspects of the game. Here is the summary: 1) Added new AI robots. MUCH BETTER ONES! They are unbeatable on the hardest setting and also really fast to play. They come with easy, medium, hard and random settings. When you choose random and you have 3 or 4 player game - the system will randomly choose the robot strength. 2) Replaced dictionaries for French, German and Bulgarian. They are much better now and all invalid words were removed. 3) Multiple bugs were fixed, including rare crash/freeze. 4) Improved tutorrial 5) Improved console controls on Steam Deck and PC with controller. You can now shuffle your letters by holding right bumper and also retract all letters from board at once and you can reposition your rack tiles individually. 6) History panel has been optimized to show longer words Have a happy playing!

  Hey folks, We are happy to announce that we uploaded new improved version of the Happy Words game. In this version we fixed dozens of bugs. We optimized the game to run smoother and also added new full screen button. We also improved the robots. They are now playing much better and not passing as often as before. • Added Steam Friends invite screen - 13 August 2022

  In this update you can enjoy the Steam invite menu. You can invite your Steam friends to play Happy Words and you can also see which friend is online for play. The menu has full controller support and is Steam Deck verified (Great on Deck). Cheers

• Update Three: More bugs are fixed - 21 May 2019

  In Today's update we have fixed the following bugs: Letter is stuck while dragging it and your turn ends. This is now fixed. Sometimes game is not ending when player plays all of his tiles and the tiles bag is empty. We have fixed that as well. Fixed crash when joker letter is swapped. Fixed non working "SKIP TURN ON SWAP" option in multiplayer games Cheers
