Hi everyone,It's been a while since the last devlog, but the game has been moving forward steadily, and I have some things to share. The two-character system I mentioned is now fully in place and used in puzzles: switching between Cubee and Alfred is the main feature of the whole chapter. Hi everyone,I'm going to try to make a devlog from now on and I'll share every progress I'm making. Well, you are probably surprised to see this news, because this game hasn't been updated since... 2021. I know, it has been quite some time. What's in the update? Since my last game has been released, I wanted to do an update for this game, and did all the fixes Antenna Dilemma needed: * Fullscreen mode and resolutions selection * vSync mode * Typos (again) * Backgrounds have been slightly updated * Spaceship puzzle has been simplified I also removed the cutscene after the credits, because... I didn't like it anymore :) What will happen with Antenna Dilemma? Anyway, in short: I feel bad for having a non finished game on Steam, the game could be way better than just an introduction to a story I really liked. I don't think a lot of people is waiting patiently for a sequel, but I read the discussions in the community hub and I have to say, it helped me taking the decision to be back at it.…
- 2 years old anniversary update! (Italian version + better UI) - 29 April 2021
Hi everyone, Time flies... Antenna Dilemma was released 2 years ago! This is the best occasion to update the game to a more polished version and with a new language: Game is playable in Italian! Special thanks to Calavera Cafè for helping me on this :) Other updates: * I've listened to your feedbacks, and the "math puzzles" are now simplier. It's the same way of calculating for the three puzzles * UI is smoother in general, inventory items have new animations * Dialog box text has been updated to a smoother version * Alfred's items icons has been redone to be in the same resolution that the hero's one * The hero wears the cap inside the neighbour's house * Inventory bug fixed when going back to main menu * Inspector Waffles's icon updated Now that my other game is released, I can get a little more time to work on this project. - First year anniversary update! - 22 April 2020
Hi everyone! Friday, the 24th of April will be the very first year anniversary of Antenna Dilemma. Time is running so fast, it's like we released the game yesterday! During this year, you sent us so many positive feedbacks, a lot of you asked for a sequel... As you maybe know, I'm doing code/art/story/dialogs alone on my games, so making Inspector Waffles + a sequel to Antenna Dilemma is taking so much time... But... I feel incredibly grateful about all these positive words you've told about our little game. And the minimum we can do for you, is a little teasing of Antenna Dilemma sequel. You need to finish the game to see a new part of the story, and if you don't want to play the whole game again (that's understandable), you can launch it directly from the remote control, like some of the hidden achievements. Hi! This patch fixes some typos in the french localization. Thanks to NucLeo for his awesome help with it :) Game is also "very positive" on Steam, that's very cool. I made this game almost alone (Philip did the music), it warms my heart to see that players enjoyed it. It's the best achievement I got on Steam, to be honest ːsteamhappyː Even if I'm spending most of my dev time on Inspector Waffles right now, Antenna Dilemma is still on my mind: new localization will come soon and I started (slowly) to write the sequel. Hi! This patch fixes most of the bugs linux players met. Game can't be launched. Linux players can't see the intro video and game crashes. First of all, thanks for playing Antenna Dilemma, you are more than expected and feedbacks are great, thanks a lot :) This patch fixes: * Player can interact with the sticky note on the mailbox after sharing the cookie with C432632 * The major won't tell "roll a dice", but "flip a coin", better for a spherical person ;) * Maddy calls Alfred "an human", better to say "a spherical person" * The emergency service told C432632 that he didn't need to write an excuse note, he can steal an antenna without leaving one.
