Thank you all for playing Outrider Mako! We have released a new update for the game. Bug Fixes/Changes Readjusted behavior for all enemies. The workbench in the delivery center can now use materials deposited in the ATM for crafting. Directional keys can now be used to navigate menus. Added an input to swap between secondary weapons without opening the menu. (By default: L1/R1 for controllers, U/I keys for keyboard) After losing a boss fight, you can now choose to retry with your inventory restored to what you had before the fight. Thank you all for playing Outrider Mako! After hearing your feedback and bug reports, we have rolled out a patch which fixes several bugs that were affecting the playability of the game, mainly to the red nectar system. Bug Fixes / Changes Recover full HP when saving at a save point. All boxes can be opened without red nectar. Red nectar now dissolves quickly in the rain. Able to now obtain red nectar when diving into red nectar well. Halved the amount of the red nectar needed when synthesizing elixirs. The prices of the items at the shop will no longer scale depending on quantities purchased. Increased the overall drop rate of red nectar Adjusted Mako's defense. Adjusted enemy movement and boss fight difficulty. Adjusted so that red nectar is no longer lost when taking damage while pouncing. Fixed a bug related to Safety Stake. We're excited to announce that Outrider Mako by Asamado Games has been released today!Mako falls into the Mayoi World and finds herself at the Bumon Delivery Center, which a strange monster named Mozu claims is a package delivery service. Mako ends up becoming an outrider for the delivery center. She will need to collect seal stamps from the gods of the Mayoi World in the apprentice notes given to her by Mozu to fill it with spirit energy and return to her own world.However, deliveries rarely go smoothly. All sorts of dangerous mononoke will interrupt Mako's work.Rushing into a group of enemies or attacking them willy-nilly will only get you killed. Learn their attacks and jump to avoid them, then leap around to go on the offensive. - Outider Mako Development Progress as of December 2020. - 4 December 2020
Dear fans, Thank you for your continued support for Outrider Mako. Originally, the title was planned for a 2020 release but as we explained here, as this is creator Asamado Games' first time making a game, it is taking longer than expected to adjust all the settings in Game Maker Studio. Game system wise, the title is currently around 70-80% complete. From now on Asamado will continue developing the remaining 20-30% while also fixing issues that are raised through test playing. As the focus has been on the game system development up until this point, work still needs to be done from a content perspective. Currently, "the world design and the expression has been evolved to a much higher level from the playable demo at TGS 2019, now I will begin adding more contents while maintaining this level of quality." according to the developer. Dear Fans, We have some updates on the development of Outrider Mako! Wetland Brawl. Outrider Mako will feature a variety of locations such as grassland, rocky areas, forests and wetlands. This is an example of rainy wetland. You can see the characters reflected in the puddles. Apologies for the technical explanation but instead of using a new surface, to avoid increasing graphics on the texture page (which would be a nightmare), we used several layers to achieve this effect. This allows for simpler processing and less hassle overall. Take flight and dive on your enemies. In Mayoi, even humans can fly. Well, not all the time, you will be able to take to the air under certain conditions and places. You wil be able to reach areas that were inaccessible and view areas that you've not been to yet. It contains a map as well as mission details to help you keep track of what must be done to progress.
