- Unity Beta Release Version 0.9 - 29 October 2023
Good morning, We have finished 0.9 release of our beta build for the game. Some music points are still missing but the project is now 85 percent complete. The remaining patches will fine-tune the existing content and finalize the build of the game. After this once the base game is finished mini-games and other features may be added as mentioned in our early Access framework. Thanks for sticking with us and I hope all is well. - Unity Test Version Now Up! - 4 September 2021
Hello, I am happy to announce; albeit late... That we have finally released a testing build of our Unity engine version of the game. To access this you will need to go to options by right clicking on the game and then going to Betas. Once you do this in the text entry screen with a password field enter "unitytest1234". With this code you will be able to opt into beta builds as we make progress on the Unity engine. I added this a few months back but still needed to do testing on to to make sure it was stable enough for public use. Happily it is playable up to where we currently are with the game. The team will provide more updates soon and hopefully another Unity patch. Once we get further in Unity development than we were in the other version the game files for the main build will be replaced with those from the Unity build. - Development Update October 2020 - 24 October 2020
Good morning, We have been largely quiet since the release of the second scene but I want to assure you that we have not abandoned the project. The reason for this update will explain why we have been largely silent but is also a good thing for the goals with this game and any input the community may have to make the game better as we develop things. - We are scrapping the current engine and moving to Unity to allow for better support, customization, more mini-games and an overall more useful experience. - We are clearing up some character and background art discrepancies later on in the script so we can get the game out faster for you. - We do not have an updated release date with this change in engine but still plan on releasing incremental patches as we complete each scene, mini-game and section of the game so players can provide feedback and help us to improve the game. Hello everyone, Welcome to the next community update. We are only midway through May but I am happy to have some announcements for you. Effective as of last night we have released version 1.0. This build completes the first part of the Chapter 1 story. With this, we have also verified all things are working on our first full build of the kinetic portion of the game. In particular the following things have been completed: - Additional minor grammatical changes to the game. - Scene transitions fixed and match content of the story. - Music added to each scene and during specific events. - Minor code cleanup. - April 2020 Community Update - 30 April 2020
Hello, This is the first combined community update that will be posted on all of our social media, Steam and Kickstarter. I am happy to announce even more progress has been made on the game; in addition, we have made improvements to our website to allow for easier support, easier key management and related things if you need something from us over the course of the game being developed. - March 2020 Community Update - 26 March 2020
Hello, I am here with our March update a little early with some good news. We will be releasing our first major release. Along with this release, we will be doing a sale on the game and some marketing to get the word on our game out there. It is still in the form of a kinetic novel as we have only finished chapter one of our story. More patches will be incoming and more interaction with our community will be incoming. Hello, Welcome to another community update announcement! In this announcement I will be covering what we’ve gotten done so far and also what our plans are. We are hoping to release the first chapter soon. As for the game release we had initially set for full release in August but are unsure if we can hit that goal. I wanted to let you know that now before we moved further along and missed expectations however below is a list of what we have done and where we are as of now. - The background art for Sumire and Yuki’s room is done. - January 2020 Update - 29 January 2020
Hello everyone, I wanted to provide some updates on the progress of our release. We last provided an art patch in December midway through the month. We had hoped to release a patch after that but were unable to do so. I wanted to provide some information on our current status. - First we are planning to release the second quarter of the game by the end of this quarter; the reason for this is we have had to make grammatical and script updates which required us to rebuild parts of the code. This is taking time with our limited editing staff. - Both of our primary artists do this as a hobby and are not full time so background art is coming slower than initially anticipated. - We are also knee deep in trying to update a security patch in the Android build. - Recent Issues and Community Update - 2 December 2019
Hello, We have had reports from community members about issues involving IP and testing screenshots that were never meant to be in a public build. I am happy to say that we addressed this in a patch last week immediately after this concerns were brought to our attention. The very next day we also released an art patch to finish through scene 1 of the story. Throughout the week we have been working on PR and released an Android build with the same updates we provided to our Steam and other PC Distribution Partners. It is our hope within the next week to release a grammar patch and additional artwork. We also have had some good input from reviewers and curators over the week. Hello, We have released an emergency patch to correct some items that were meant for internal testing and not for public release. - Early Access Release - 17 November 2019
Hello, We are happy to announce that as of today at 5 PM Pacific time the first scene of TNU:ENRB has been released to the public. We will be happy to support the community, take comments and get help in developing the community and game as a whole. We will be releasing our second patch some time before the end of November. This patch will include more graphics, characters and possible support for Linux. - Updates - 30 September 2019
Hello, We have some updates on our development and reasons for the initial delay. As mentioned in our store page our game has adult content. Our story team and publishing team have been working to meet specific guidelines with the adult content in our game. This along with our coming support for Linux, Android and our Windows version are the reasons for the delay. We have updated our release into early access to being in October. To get our artwork for the game done faster we have also released a KickStarter. We will be giving Steam keys out to backers as Steam will be our primary method of distribution for this game.
