Hello, another DF update has been released! This one includes some more newly renovated boss fights, plus several updated and unique heart items. I have been trying to keep these up on a monthly basis now. It is much faster to add new stuff to the game now that I have cleaned up the internals a bunch. Hello everyone, there is a new Dream Flash update out now. It actually came out a few days ago, but I forgot to make an announcement. Anyways check it out there was some more polish, bug fixing, a new boss, and controller rebinding.Changelog The next update will be a major one, with a bunch of renovations to stage 2 and many new bosses. Hello Dream Flash v25.5 is out now! This is a big update which comes with improvements to almost every stat pool item. Many items that were lackluster have been changed up to be more interesting and powerful. In addition to this, the stat system was reworked to be simpler for new players and more impactful to runs. Hello everyone, a new update has been released with 2 new bosses, 2 new weapons, and several performance improvements. Full Changelog This is a smaller update where I did a bunch of back end clean up that was needed. A lot of the existing code was pretty bad and not performant. Now there should be some noticeable improvements in that regard. The next update will be big and have a lot of new stuff. I was busy earlier in the year and late last year working on a side project, but I will be able to focus on dream flash for the next few months. Thank you for your continued support. Hey everyone, the new update is out! This is a mostly QoL update with a bunch of highly requested features like better tutorial information, better performance, and better graphics. There is also a newly renovated boss and some improved items. Changelog Anyways this update took longer than I wanted since there was a lot of back end stuff that needed to be fixed/improved. I am happy to report that the next update will be just focused on new stuff essentially. That should be out some time in September. Dream Flash Early Access 23 is out now! This update includes 3 new bosses, 2 renovated transformations, and some new items. There was also a lot of polish done behind the scenes. List of Changes I was originally going to release 22.5 at the end of march, but all of the back end stuff I needed to do to improve the code for future updates and synergies was taking longer than I thought it would. So I just decided to skip releasing that and wait longer between updates so that there can also be a decent amount of new features. The rest of the updates this year shouldn't require any significant back end changes thankfully so expect the regularly planned schedule of a new major version every 2 months. Ok that is technically a lie. I am planning on releasing a 23.5 by the end of June before starting v24. 23.5 will allegedly have another new boss, plus a bunch of requested QoL stuff like updated…

Hello everyone Dream Flash Early Access 22 is out now. This is a full sized update that contains 1 new boss and 3 fully renovated existing bosses with new art and attacks. In addition to this the bleeding state has been made much more mechanically interesting as well with a new dash effect and spear attack. There are also a bunch of other improvements to existing items and weapons so that they look better and synergize more effectively. Dream Flash Early Access 21.5 is out now! This update comes with a large amount of quality of life changes in addition to a new/updated boss. Full Changelog One other noteworthy thing is that almost every negative emotion pool item has been buffed. For the most part this means that their positive benefit has been doubled in effectiveness. Ideally every item in the game should be noticeably impactful to the run, whether that be in a purely positive way, or in a negative way. In 2024 I would like to release more frequent medium sized updates every 2 months. These updates should be about 50/50 in terms of new content and polishing. Dream Flash early access version 21.2 is out now. I also released version 21.1 a few weeks ago but I didn't announce that one in its own post. Anyways there were 4 new items added in demo 21.1, plus some other QoL stuff. Demo 21.2 comes with a lot of bug fixes.

Dream Flash Early Access Update 21 is finally out. This update comes with a bunch of bug fixes, quality of life changes, and 4 brand new bosses. Hey Everyone, we made it. Dream Flash Early Access 20 is finally out. This is a pretty big update that adds new items, bosses, and a new state. Changelog Some of my favorite items and bosses got added in this update. I'm really happy with how the game is turning out. Every run feels completely different and exciting now. I spent a lot of dev time just polishing stuff added in this update, and in previous updates. Anyways I'm feeling pretty good about how development is going. I keep increasing the amount of updates I have planned which is probably not good. However I also want to avoid spending more than 2 months per update b/c this one took too long. Hey Everyone Dream Flash Early Access 19.5 is out! This update has a lot of quality of life changes and stuff under the hood that I had to finish up. List of Changes I also updated a few bosses to look way better and have more champs. I hope to make every boss have this level of quality in the future. Anyways thats it, this is a smaller update that I wanted to get out by the end of the year. I have a lot of content planned for 2023. Originally I only planned to do 1 more content update before the final update. However now I am planning on doing 3 content updates and then the huge final update. Dream Flash Early Access is out now! This update comes with a bunch of updated bosses, a new state, and some new items/weapons. There are also a bunch of QoL additions that make the game better. As you can see the ground now has real intricate texture instead of just being a solid color with a slight gradient. In addition to this every stage now has a full music track with an intense combat variant when fighting bosses. Thanks for playing Dream Flash so far. I've been pretty busy irl so this one took a while longer. Hopefully I can get update 20 out by the end of the year. Early Access 20 will be the last early access update. Hey everyone, DF early access update 18.1 is out now. This is a small polish update that adds QoL stuff like performance optimization and some other things. List of Changes: New Settings for low graphics mode, turning off screenshake, and turning off particle effects New Recollection Index Visuals New Item thought cloud visuals New Pause menu visuals Bullets will lag less now, particles as well Nervous Thoughts 100% Split Damage -> 50% Split Damage Fixed Can’t remember boss image The next update will be more QoL stuff. Think of it as adding a bunch of things to make the game feel 'finished'. I'll also be adding a bunch of new sound effects to the game as those are sorely needed.
