• Finally Back - 23 June 2022

  Hello, The app is back since June, 18th. Everything has been fully reworked. No more click by click progression, now a much smoother one. I also added an "Intellingence Operator Mode" a kind of competitive quiz mode with some replayability. All the episodes of Vol.1 are available. They've been reworked as well, little and bigger details that some of you might notice, or not. I'm currently working on the unMatched Mode, the Extras and other features. I had to work on last-minute issues but these elements are almost done. I hope you'll enjoy this new version, tell me about it ;) AxelG

• Dragon and Weed: Origins to BornWild • Versus - 20 July 2021

  Big updates for Dragon and Weed: Origins Vol.1 today. First and foremost, all episodes for volume 1 are now wrapped and ready for release. A release schedule will be published every month. A New Name One of the biggest changes for the series. After more than a decade, Dragon and Weed: Origins name will now evolve. The original first episode of the series aired in April 2009, then using a name with funny or maybe controversial elements in it wasn’t an instant kill move. With the evolution of the internet and its main platform, mostly ruled by algorithms (for the good and the bad) it is now hazardous if not self-destructive to use triggering elements as “Weed” in the title.   Hello everyone, Quick update on the release date for Ep.1 and the animations. So last time the release was postponed at the last time to implement the animations I worked on since March. Today is quite frustrating because I have to let it go. It will drag the development time too much. You will find the full context below and some of the episode's 90 animations. Ep.1 will be out August 28th at 11:00 am EST, I'll make it available a little time before for you guys. Animations Full Context To help understand the situation, DWO S1 Vol.1 workflow was thought for rendering and edit still images that will be animated after. This pipeline worked very-well for Ep.0 and for Ep.1 and the next episodes. But in-production I decided that it would add more value to the VN if I added a new type of animations. • DWO Ep.1 Release Update - 7 August 2020

  Hello there, So about that release? Unfortunately, we can't release of Ep.1 as scheduled. Why is that? The new animations we worked on couldn't make it to the release. There is currently a version of episode 1 without the animations but I personally (AxelG) think it wouldn't make sense to release it that way since that would change the experience and Ep.1 is quite important as it show the type of content you'll will have. If you bought the Full Access and still want to have a look to the episode, you can still shoot an email to [email protected] with a proof of purchase. We'll send you the current version of the episode 1. But as stated above, you won't get the full experience. Though we’re coming back with some nice information. - Fixes & Technical Features: Full AutoPlay: Requested by many, we will add a Full AutoPlay to the reading experience. The actual one was limited to action sequences. Textbox issues: It was mentioned that the Textbox doesn’t always show the long text. This issue was known and supposedly solved with a mini scroll-bar to reach the bottom. It seems the solution doesn’t appear everywhere, we’ll look into it. • Dragon and Weed: Origins April Update - 16 April 2020

  The April Update is here and we got some great news coming! We talked about introducing new character animations in the previous Update. Today we can say that great progress has been made and the new workflow is almost ready. Still, no date to announce for now, but expect a sneak peek followed by an episode preview in the coming weeks. We’re also working on the Volume’s Final Trailer, really excited about it. We got some great talents for the audio part and the visuals are coming. It will be different from the usual Visual Novel trailers but you kind of figured that out didn’t you? Finally, we preparing a few contests with very nice prizes! • Dragon and Weed: Origins March Update - 14 March 2020

  Some news for this month's update! Here's what to expect: Let's start with the "bad" news, Dragon and Weed: Origins Episode 1 release is delayed for now. Not for production issues or so, the episode resources are mostly done. One of the reasons is that we understood that the gap between the first episodes (0,1 and 2) as announced in the Early Access Guidelines would make the series complicated to follow. We're now aiming for a closer release between episodes, we'll communicate on this later. Meanwhile, we're also considering to improve and add more character animations. We have to test a new pipeline and make sure that it doesn't set back the production too much. We can't wait to show you the improvements.   This January will be marked as we dive into the dystopian universe of Dragon and Weed. How to survive in a world ruled by continental coalitions, paramilitary institutions, assassins and other warmonger in search of discord with the potential to develop psychic powers of all kinds? It is by following a pair of mercenaries whose reputation are made that you will take your first steps in this universe without mercy.
