- Update 1.2: Model Importer - 17 August 2021
Golf Around now has an importer for custom 3D models! You can import your own or get models from others on the Workshop! Read the full Importer guide here: https://www.golfaroundgame.com/importer The model format is .OBJ only, with optional .MTL files for materials. (You can export this format from Blender easily.) Animations are not supported, sorry. Each asset is a unique workshop item, which you can make private or public. Assets are also fully embedded in the map files, so they won't break if the assets aren't present. If you need any help using it, join our Discord here and ask for help: https://discord.gg/h6vzVq5 Keep in mind this is a new tool and will probably need some fixes. If you find a bug it's very helpful to report it on Discord or the forums!

Golf Around is ready for full release! A new game mode has been added! Swing mode will test your golfing skills in a new way, by swinging a club rather than charging your shot. There have also been various fixes and a new mechanic added to the Vaporwave theme. Your Steam language will be selected on first time startup. Other -A South America server has been added. -You can now disable free cam in room options. Update 0.9 is now out! Try a new map, listen to the new 9-song OST, and use 10 new mechanics in the editor! The price has been increased with this update to USD 4.99 or equivalent. A new map is here for Golf Around! Haven is a pirate island where you can blast out of cannons, make friends with seagulls, and look out from the crow's nest. Haven also includes an editor theme with a new modular building system as well as the new mechanics. Also there is an achievement and new music track. Some things are not yet in the editor, like water - many updates are possible. The workshop is growing steadily, reaching 130 community maps. Nitro's "Abandoned Town of MiniGolf 18 Holes" holds the most subscribed spot, can anyone knock him off the throne?

Vaporwave has also been added to the editor, with all basic props and 40+ unique props. It has a new par achievement. The editor now has custom text where you can type your own message, under Special. There's a new group of settings where you can pick a base terrain, skybox, and music.
