  The night is dark and full of terrors...and 46 layers below the earth's surface, it is always night. And there are plenty of terrors. About The Game Layers Of The Machine is a cyberpunk game, set in a dark and strange world. 46 layers below the earth's surface, deep within the Machines' territory, you are one of the few human contractors allowed to do work for the Machines. But make sure you never step out of line. We are very proud and happy (and slightly scared) to finally release our game on Steam - for the last 2 years, most of our spare time went into making it.   - added basic quest log to make progress less random - fixed ingame map to cover all of the Ruins Of Logic - improved visibility of key quest items - increased sprinting speed and endurance to make travelling faster - fixed bug with fade-in and out effects

  Version 0.1.3.0 of Layers Of The Machine was just released - most changes in this update are a direct result of feedback we got from our players. The changes are mostly meant to make the gameplay smoother and more enjoyable and we plan to continue on this path in the next few updates as well. CHANGES ========= 1) new ingame map (key m) to make it easier to find the areas where the story will progress - before that, progressing with the story was to much reliant on luck (running into the correct locations). 2) climbing ladders is now easier and more like in other games (sorry to everyone who died, not guns blazing, but instead falling from a badly designed ladder). 3) using an object is now more intuitive: if you see the tooltip, you can use the object.   Version 0.1.2.1 of Layers of the Machine was just released! BUGFIXES - fixed bug where weapon disappeared if saving while on ladder. - fixed audio bug where dialogs would be skipped if sound volume was set to zero. - fixed bug in storyline, where quest step could be started premature. FEATURES - ladder climbing made easier (sorry to everyone who hurt themselves while climbing).
