- A Small Update - 13 September 2019
You might have noticed Fit For a King had a new download the other night. For the curious and thorough, here's what was contained in that little patch: Fixes Fixed a crash that happened if you triggered the summit while riding a horse. Fixed an issue where the consort’s essential flag wasn’t removed after providing a summit item. Improvements If you get better summit results, Steam achievements for lower results will now trigger as well. Tweaked dialog of the new character from last update to make it clearer that he is a useless easter egg! Hope everyone's having a grande olde summit! Brent & Tanya

Thank you to everyone who's played the game this past week -- it's been royally entertaining to see you live your best/worst courtly lives. We'd also like to offer a special thanks to everyone who reported bugs or issues, mostly through the Discord. It sounds like some folks have managed to 100% the game, which is reassuring... and I saw a draft of a 100% walkthrough write-up being passed around. Here's hoping these fixes and improvements encourage more folks to take the plunge! Henry VIII lived large. He got through six wives, founded his own Church so he could get divorced and pretty much executed everyone. He also liked tennis. Fit For a King is a Henry VIII simulator that tries to capture some of that life and the result is something that looks like Ultima but reminds me more of Reigns .  As king or queen of 16th century England, you need to compete with your rival, get disgustingly rich by collecting taxes and finding chests, execute and marry whatever you want—apparently even inanimate objects—and, if you're feeling bored, reform the church.
