Hi Raifu Wars fans! Update 1.13.1 is here to improve the game and help transition to free to play. We are still aiming to go F2P in early July. For now, this update grants all current players access to all DLC characters - thank you again for playing! Modable textures: all game graphics are loaded as PNGs and can be modified by users Skin colors are now available for all 12 characters. - Going Free to Play! - 2 June 2024
Hi Raifu Wars Fans! We are excited to make some big announcements today; mainly that Raifu Wars will soon be available for free to everyone! Free-to-Play That's right! Starting in July we plan to make the base Raifu Wars game completely free. That means anyone will be able to play online and locally, make and publish maps, and choose from any of the 8 base characters! What if I already bought the game? We thank you so much for supporting us! All player profiles made before the free switch will receive special cosmetics as well as all DLC characters (including future ones) for free. What about the mobile version? The mobile version will also become free. Paid customers will receive the same benefits stated above (special cosmetics and all DLC characters free). Hi Raifu Wars fans! Today we're rolling out v1.13 to Steam. Our goal is to bring long requested online features and improved stability to the game. 1v1 mode: control an entire team and go head to head with your opponent! Map Repository v1.12.1b adds support for our new map repository. Sign in with your Yotis Online account and subscribe to maps which will be automatically downloaded to your Raifu Wars game. In the map editor you will now have publishing options for the official Map Repository or Steam Workshop: If you are not logged in to Yotis Online through your profile you are given the option right in the map editor. Once logged in, any new maps you subscribe to will be downloaded automatically when the game starts!
