• Here's How to Play the Mega Drive version of DaemonClaw on Steam Deck. - 24 January 2026

  Hey everyone,If you have a Steam Deck and would like to play DaemonClaw on it, we've worked out a way for you to play the complete Mega Drive version now, and we're still working on making the modern version work on Steam Deck as well. The video above shows two methods to make the Mega Drive version playable on Steam Deck. The second method takes maybe a minute instead of 20 seconds to set up, but once you do, it would allow you to go directly into the Mega Drive version instantly instead of having to go through the DaemonClaw front end first. Thanks very much for your patience as we continue to work on finishing the modern and Neo Geo versions of DaemonClaw!

  Thanks very much everyone for trying the playable demo of DaemonClaw during the Steam Next Fest! We really appreciate the feedback and are determined to make DaemonClaw the type of game you want to replay all the time, even many times in a single day. DaemonClaw is still in active development and we're dedicated to improving it every step of the way as we continue to add the rest of the levels, enemies, boss fights, and more. Getting feedback from new players is a critical aspect of really polishing up game play, which remains our top priority. The next major milestone will be finishing the first alpha build of DaemonClaw for Megadrive and making it available for testing via Steam.
