This update not only adds animals, but opens the way for more dynamic and action oriented content. New features: - Hunting! Aim for the head for high damage - Peaceful and Predator animals - Each gun deals different damages - Health system

- Beer Brewing Update! - 14 July 2021
Hey everyone, I'm proud to introduce a new feature, Beer Brewing! It is buildable in the building menu under Utility. You will need to grow Hops first, which is only harvestable during fall unless you plant them in a greenhouse. I've also fixed some reported bugs including cantaloupe prices, grapes growth rates, and an autosaving issue involving slot 1. By the way, I have mapped out a new course for Farmington County and I think it would be really enjoyable if the game focused more on the production and expansion of the farm. For my next update I'm planning to add plank making to refine your harvested timber, expanded tree growing mechanics so you can have sustainable timber harvests, and letting the worker AI's load breweries, winemakers and plank making machines with their appropriate inputs. Thank you to everyone for the support!
- Minimap now Live! - 26 January 2021
Hey everyone! I just finished putting in a new a minimap for the game, one of the most requested features. It's simple right now but works super well, it really lets you see where everything is. I will be adding more features to it in the future, as well as adding more things to do in the world. Thank you to everyone playing and supporting the game!

- Quick Fix: Worker Inventory and Tutorial - 17 October 2020
- Fixed Inventory section of interactive Tutorial - Added a 'Drop inventory' command for workers
- AI Employees Update! - 15 October 2020
It's HERE! You can now hire AI employees to help around the farm. Currently they can Harvest crops by hand, and store goods into designated storage zones that you can build, under the new Build > AI category in the Building menu. They can be found near the Farm Store. The available workers will change every day. It took a while to do this update because it is such a major addition to the backend engine of the game. The new Workers react to their environment dynamically through an improved AI pathfinding and navigation system. They will automatically find which goods they can store and which crops are ready for harvesting. You pay them $40 a day to work full time in the farm. They will work from 8am-6pm every day. You can talk to them like any other NPC and you can tell them to follow you, or fire them. Harvesting and Hauling uses up their stamina, so you'd want to build comfort furnitur…
- The Seasons and Weather Update!! - 16 May 2020
It's here! The new Seasons and Weather update adds 3 new seasons with their own challenges. Greenhouses have also made their way into the game, allowing you to grow and harvest your favorite crop all year round. Plus, 4 new crops! Artichokes, Grass, Wheat, and Pumpkins. Not to brag too much but I think the new farming and growing system for Farmington County makes it one of the most detailed and satisfying among popular farming games at the moment. Every plant has their own growing speed, health, drought tolerance, pest tolerance, and time before fruiting. I hope everyone enjoys the new update! Changes: - 4 new crops! - Plants can now be harvested by hand multiple times and not be 'destroyed' as long as they are pest-free and healthy - Harvester vehicles still destroy plants after harvesting but you get 2x the crops from these plants. - Months are now changed into Seasons: Spring, Summe…
- Beekeeping! - 25 March 2020
Farmington County now has beekeeping! Build beehives to increase the growth rate of your crops through pollination. Buy the Beekeeping helmet at the Farm Store, under tools, to harvest the honey. I used a realistic model to simulate honey production - the more crops you have, the more honey you'll get. The more beehives you have, the more your crops will be pollinated. Beehives divide the amount of pollen in the farm between themselves. In this Update I also coded in some framework for a weather and seasons system; rain, fog, clouds, etc. It won't be visible in this update yet but soon it will be! For the next update I'm planning something big - either weather and/or working on the NPCs to make them feel more fully fleshed out individuals. Stay tuned and thank you for supporting Farmington County! Please don't forget to add Tags to the game in the store page so other people can see it.…
- Grapes and Wine Making! - 6 March 2020
You can now grow Grapes and make Wine using the Wine Maker! You can find it under the Building menu, Utility. I've also added tree swaying to all of the trees in the game. Thanks for the support!
- Guns, Shooting, Inventory, and 300% Bigger Map, Finally here! - 25 February 2020
This is a BIG update, not just the readily visible new features but I added a lot of backend systems that will allow me to add more things and gameplay elements to Farmington County. This update is very foundational; I believe there is now a solid base to the game that will allow me to add bigger and better things, faster. Be sure to check out the Tutorial section again to see how the new features work. Anyway, what's in this update? Let's start with the major stuff: GUNS! And Shooting! And Targets! - I designed a shooting system from scratch. It uses actual physics-based bullets, and all guns have different characteristics. I am planning to add more guns in the future, right now there are 4 types - a pistol, a shotgun, a semi auto rifle, and a fully automatic rifle. You can buy these guns at the Gun Shop, next to the Gas Station. I have also included 3 different, specifically designed…

There is now a new Visual Guide to help new players learn about the controls. It will only show up for new players but you can enable it from the Main Menu. There is also a new link to the Quick Guide in the main menu, as well as a link to the Visual Guide. Bugfixes: - Redesigned Cursor system. Uses the native mouse sensitivity so it should be a lot more responsive and accurate - Fixed expenses exploit when building - BullE80 doesn't magically transform into Tohoya Tomoma
