Hey everyone, We're absolutely blown away by the reception that the prologue has had thus far. The positive reviews, the outpouring of feedback, and the number of bugs we've squashed in the interim has really lifted the team's spirits. It’s been a weird, weird year for games. My perspective has been particularly odd and hard to square, as I’ve now been full time staff here at RPS for nearly six months. Six months! That’s … oh my god, I still haven’t extended my rent. It’s quite strange suddenly being able to talk about games in real life without having to apologise, but other than that it’s nice. In that time I’ve played somewhere around 1,200 to 1,300 games (an exact count is impossible for boring reasons), almost all of them little known. There have been many, many excellent games. There’s a refrain you see around the internet sometimes that “this was a bad year for games”, and I’ve honestly never understood it. I lived through the 2000s, people, I remember that wasteland. But this year, even after a solid 2018 , has been so replete with interes…

Hey all, pushing out a big patch, fixes are as follows: -Fixed Shackles not unlocking properly -Fixed Achievements not unlocking properly -Fixed Flamethrower and Beamgun not working while some shackles are enabled -Fixed a few misc UI elements in the Setup Screen -Fixed a few Shackles not working properly ALSO Arsenal Demon is now available on Mac and Linux! More fixes coming soon!

There’s a coat in a window on my way home and I want it. Or possibly a blazer, I was in a hurry. It is purple and the shop had put a sign saying “VAMPIRE” over it, but I don’t need to use the cover of the worst holiday as an excuse. Which reminds me: when did we agree that Halloween was an entire bloody month and not a single day? The Pleasuredome does not recognise this false season (also I coincidentally booked half of next week off anyway). It is time, then, for a resolutely pumpkin-free Unknown Pleasures , our regular selection of the very best games on Steam that aren’t getting their due.
