- The Polish legend soon to join JDM: Japanese Drift Master’s car roster! - 7 September 2026
Ossu!Poland is not really known for its car production history but if there is a single car out there that gained any global attention it was the FSO Polonez. Produced since 1978, Polonez grew to become a staple of Polish culture. From its appearance in the cult classic Polish tv series 07 zgłoś się to an episode of Top Gear - the legacy of Polonez lives to this day. As a way to prolong its heritage and also pay homage to its classic status, we’re bringing the FSO Polonez to JDM: Japanese Drift Master! Before the last Polonez drove off of the production line in 2002, over 1,000,000 cars had been manufactured, making it the most successful and widely seen car on Polish roads in the ‘90s. A plethora of various versions hit not only the streets but even rally tracks. When the prices of the car fell drastically, a new tuning scene for it emerged - granted, most of the time it was “barnyard m…

- JDM Multiplayer Events Sneak Peek - 23 July 2026
Ossu! It’s no secret that one of the biggest inspirations for JDM was the Initial D franchise. The story of Takumi and friends, the dramatic touge downhill races and the overall focus on drifting on tight corners, became the fuel for our creative process. We grew up watching the show or reading the manga, dreaming of a video game that could provide the same emotions but in a playable format. Years later, in 2025, we released JDM and gathered a wonderful community of players around the game, who shared our sentiment and love for Japan, Japanese cars and street racing in general. It was a dream come true for us but it also still felt somewhat incomplete - it lacked a personal agency, the chaos of two drivers not really knowing what the other would do speeding down a steep mountain pass. Plainly said, it lacked multiplayer, which became our next big milestone. With the release of the open…
- New Story Campaign Expansion is coming to JDM! - 22 July 2026
Ossu! We’re continuing our format of expanding the game’s story campaign through side mission chapters focused on the boss characters. It’s finally time for Ayumi! In Ayumi’s chapter you will follow her life from her early childhood, the traumas she endured and how racing changed her forever. We’ve prepared 8 fresh gameplay events, narrated through manga pages and a unique reward waiting for those who complete the whole chapter - Ayumi’s boss car.The free update will go live on July 29th for all platforms simultaneously. Bug FixingAlongside the side mission campaign we’ve also looked into some long requested adjustments and overdue bug fixing. We’ll share a full patch notes list on the day of the update but here’s a few items which we can already confirm:We’ve scoured through the open world map adjusting it, making sure players will no longer collide with invisible objects or the ground…

- The classic in modern sheets, introducing - the Ironvale Stallion 2024 - 23 April 2026
Ossu! The last of the cult classic muscle cars that’s still in production and under constant development. The Stallion in 2024 took the turn towards the sports aspect of the car. With a 6-speed manual transmission it’s meant to abuse its raw power on the track.Even though it’s a new car, filled with electronics and gadgets, it continues to gather a lot of attention from petrol-heads. Maybe because it’s the last of its breed or maybe because the fancy, modern dashboard is just an addition to what still feels like an original “pony”, roaring its V8 engine like it used to in the 70s. This episode concludes our American Classics DLC preview - all cars have been disclosed and will soon be available in game for all platforms! But the American additions to the game are just the beginning - some more news on upcoming JDMs are on the horizon, so stay tuned for more details shortly! We’re currentl…
- The embodiment of the American muscle car joins the roster - Reaver ‘69. - 16 April 2026
Ossu!1969 is often considered the pinnacle of the muscle car era with some of the most recognizable cars driving off the factory lines and into the streets. Amongst them the Roebuck Reaver. For just one year Roebuck decided to give a liftover for the Reaver, changing almost everything about the chassis except for the trunk and the roof. The car got wider and went lower, giving it an even more aggressive, muscular look. The ‘69 model remains one of the most driven golden era cars to this day. Thanks to the car part availability and the sprawling tuning scene, it is a fan favourite for Restomod enthusiasts. Nothing stands in the way to pack a modern engine, transmission and huge disc brakes and turn this grandpa into a XXI century sports car. The American Classics DLC is coming to JDM soon!Just a quick reminder that you can get both the base JDM game, as well as its first DLC - Made in USA…
- Your opinion matters - help us define the future of racing games! - 10 April 2026
Ossu! Before we dive into the topic at hand - we are developing additional features and content updates for JDM and we will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. Nothing changes here and we are hard at work to bring you the promised multiplayer, liveries, new cars (including JDMs of course) and more. We have big plans for the future of the game and it remains our main priority for the months and years ahead. With that out of the way, we would like to ask you to fill out a form about your perception of arcade racing games. To grow, gain expertise and keep pushing our technology forward we wanted to create a smaller, more arcade focused racing game as a bridge experience before we dig into a potential JDM sequel someday in the distant future. The perception of the genre changes with each new generation of players joining the hobby of playing video games, redefining expectations. On…
- Introducing the Jetstream! - 9 April 2026
Ossu!If you always wanted a postcard car, here it is - the Jetstream is a timeless beauty from the ‘50s that aged like fine wine. Its “Jet Age” styling and a two-tone paint defined what a luxurious car for the middle class should look like. The affordability and the unique look of the Jetstream pushed it to becoming one of the most desired cars for tuning in the late XX century. Whether you want it to cruise around and flex the Americana style or you want to make use of its lightweight V8 engine for some road shenanigans, Jetstream is the go-to car for you!The Jetstream will debut in the American Classics DLC, coming to JDM soon! JDM: Japanese Drift Master is currently on sale on Steam.
