• Halloween Event is Back! - 16 October 2023

  Hey all! Get ready for the spookiest Unicorn-related event you'll see all Halloween long! Revisit the Haunted Mansion and have fun running through the corn maze! This is the same Halloween event from last year. Sorry for not rolling out a brand new event, but we figured it would still be fun for veteran players and newcomers who didn't have Unicorn Tails last year. Open presents that have been scattered around for some unique holiday hats. Enjoy ice skating on the frozen pond! Beat your high scores skiing down the giant slalom! And it wouldn’t be Unicorn Tails if there weren’t some secrets buried about. Learn new magic to make it snow any time you want! Unlock even more butterflies with some wintertime target practice.   This is Halloween! Celebrate Spooky Month by launching Unicorn Tails anytime between October 15th and November 5th for our annual Halloween Festival! See all of the Halloween decorations in the unicorn village. Then, make your way through the haunted maze, and discover a whole creepy mansion full of fun activities and seasonal rewards! Halloween only comes once a year, just like these unique games and activities in Unicorn Tails. Don’t miss out!

• Steam Deck Update for Unicorn Tails - 14 July 2022

  Greetings everyone! Just a small update from the Unicorn Kingdom. We at RavenFist finally opened a chocolate bar and got a golden ticket! By which I mean we got a Steam Deck and have begun the process of making sure everything in Unicorn Tails works as expected. If you’ve been wanting to play Unicorn Tails on the go, or have kids and you’re willing to hand them an expensive, limited availability device this should be good news. On the flip-side, if you’ve been enjoying Unicorn Tails on a Steam Deck already, post your experiences. We’d love to hear about them and hear how we can make Unicorn Tails on Steam Deck the best it can be. • Bug Fixes and Performance Update - 24 August 2021

  Hello all! We are dropping a small update to Unicorn Tails today that fixes some graphic bugs, and some fine tuning that should boost performance for many. In addition, we reduced the download size of the game as a whole by roughly 35%. We are working on another large story quest that we hope to have ready to go by the end of the year or early 2022. • 2021 Roadmap - 21 July 2021

  First of all, yes, we know it’s July. We’re sorry. Publishing a roadmap when half of the year is gone is not high on the, “keep your community engaged” list. Let me to explain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up. We ended 2020 with a huge update to Unicorn Tails bringing full voice over to the game. We wanted to take that momentum into 2021 with a big announcement. What we discovered is that some things in the gaming industry move slower than one would hope. We also had to navigate the wonderful world of non-disclosure agreements for the first time. So, bear with me as I attempt to share with you what happened without violating a signed NDA. Our highest priority in 2021 was to port Unicorn Tails to a small, handheld device that is black in the middle with interchangeable colors on the sides and rhymes with Tintendo Ditch. • Small Bug Fix Patch - 12 January 2021

  Hello all! This is just a small bug fix patch. Several small bugs were fixed, and hopefully the the Hide and Seek Rhino shows up more reliably now! We added a small obelisk where you first find the Rhino that will allow you to reset the quest if he still is not showing up for you.

• Winter Event - Hotfix 1 - 15 December 2020

  - Fixed issue with the "Change Weather - Snow" magic power that caused it to not function on the main island in some circumstances. - Thawed out a horseshoe that was buried in the ice and couldn't be picked up. You should be able to grab it now.

  Small update to fix a handful of bugs! Fixed a scaling issue with the main control book in the summonable castle, The Purple Palace. Fixed an issue that would cause magic you've already purchased to show up in the Magic Shop again. Fixed an issue where books you've already collected would show up and be collectable again. Fixed a couple issues where dialog components were not working correctly. Fixed an issue where some quests were not being removed from the quest log after they were completed.

  Unicorn Tails Fans, Prepare yourselves for the biggest update in Unicorn Tails history! We started out making a game that would appeal to families. We tried to make it friendly for all ages and accessible to everyone. Today we have taken a huge step regarding accessibility. RavenFist Studios is proud to announce that Unicorn Tails is now fully voice acted! For all our young fans out there, who haven’t yet learned to read, are just learning to read, or struggle with reading, this will completely change the way they experience the game.   Hey all! Happy Hat Day! Okay, that's not actually a thing, but it is in Unicorn Tails - your unicorns can now wear all kinds of hats! Top Hat? Check. Knight Helmet? Check. Bag Hat? Check. Unicorn Hat...on a unicorn? Check! We hope you enjoy the new hats, and it should give you another reason to go butterfly hunting.   Hey all! This is just a small update to fix some bugs and get some things ready for the next content update, which is right around the corner! - Fixed an issue where the mouse would move over to the second screen when using a multi-display setup. - Fixed an issue where some quests would refuse to admit they were completed. - Fixed an issue where the shopkeeper would not let you leave his shop. - Fixed an issue with abilities you already had were showing as available for purchase. - Fixed an issue where purchased abilities were sometimes not saved.
