- Price update - 6 May 2025
Hey all, I've tried to run a bit of fun promotion by poking fun at Microsoft, but due to how Valve handles pricing, my attempt to drop the price by base 1$ pretty much upped the price for most regions by a bit. So like, okay... I have no time and energy to keep the prices updated, so I'll rely on Valve from now on. I'm tired of going against their will as an overworked solo developer. The promotion worked well enough on Itch.io since I have full control over pricing there. This could have been epic - _ -
- Version 1.2.0: 2024 update - 30 March 2024
Hi all, I have just released a small update for Magic of Autumn: Updated credits and intro to show V3663L, my new studio / artist name. Also, this version is compiled from the new game engine version and with the new Steam SDK, meaning the game might run better now. I noticed a while ago that the game barely reaches 40 FPS on my machines for some reason - I believe that is because of the old compiler. Now it seems to be working at stable 60 FPS, so, good news to everyone who may have experienced the same problem. Please report any problems that may occur due to an update so I can fix them. Thanks for playing this little game of mine!
- Argentine Peso and Turkish Lira price change - 7 January 2023
A bit ago Steam proposed new default prices in Turkish and Argentine currencies. I am changing it now to these prices: Argentine Peso 35 -> 165 Turkish Lira 6 -> 22 The game used to cost very little when on higher discounts in these currencies so that's the main reason for this change.
- Happy new year! - 3 January 2023
Hey all, Happy new year! It is sort of a custom at this point to write something about my plans for the upcoming year. This is the year Magic of Spring, Magic of Autumn's sequel will launch - it is currently in the very late stages of development. As for Magic of Autumn, I am dropping a small update soon - there are no fixes planned as of right now, other than a port to a new engine version. This long-term support (LTS) version is promised to not be updated with new features, meaning I will be able to return to this game years later and have it open without any problems. So if there ever is a problem with the game, I can update it without much hassle. Thanks for buying Magic of Autumn and I hope to see at least some of you once Magic of Spring launches! https://store.steampowered.com/app/465020/Sector_Six/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/1786910/Magic_of_Spring/ https://store.steampo…

- Announcing: Magic of Spring - 20 October 2021
Hi all, I'm very happy to say that I'm working on Magic of Spring - which is a reboot/prequel to Magic of Autumn! Magic of Spring will play similarly to Magic of Autumn - there is a story, a world to explore, deckbuilding, and a lot of card fights. What's different: - Completely rewritten battle engine. - New card types: Talismans and sigils. - Superior UI, improved map. - More story events and illustrated dialogues. - More battles and cards: From 50 to 100! - More interesting exploration and area design. - Superior graphics, illustrations, and animations by Minho Kim. - OST by Bert Cole. Magic of Autumn used royalty-free music. - New story that takes place before the events described in Magic of Autumn. - Endless battles: Something to do after everything is explored. ...and more! Probably. The point is, if you liked Magic of Autumn, well, you'll love Magic of Spring! More about the tea…
- Small Moons, Zuurix's game studio - 6 July 2021
Hi all! A small update for those wondering what's going on: Small Moons is a studio created by me, Zuurix a.k.a. Aivaras Klimas. I've created it in case I'll want to expand in the future and because saying that these games are made by me isn't entirely correct. Two of my biggest games are made with the awesome Bert Cole of Bit By Bit Sound. Please follow Small Moons creator's page to be updated about new game releases: Link >> That's all for now, until next time!

To do that, go to options and enable "Move buttons" and arrow buttons will appear in the game: You can click and hold them to move. I have also buffed these cards: - Shiverflame: Warmth cost 2 -> 0 - Unfinished Rune: Warmth cost 1 -> 0 - Soul: Generates 15 -> 10 Sunlight, generates 0 -> 5 warmth. Have fun!
- Version 1.1.2: Hand moving bug fixed - 9 August 2020
Hey all, Just a bug fix patch: Enemy AI used to move the player hand instead of its own, and that is now fixed. Big thanks to Red Phantom who found and reported the bug. Have fun =]
- Version 1.1.1: "Soul" nerf, "Darkness and decay" buff - 31 July 2020
A small balance patch. 1) "Soul" card now "Creates 30 warmth over 15 turns". This should be a definite end of "Altar of Eternal Fire" + "Soul" + "Soul Guardian" combo. 2) "Darkness and decay" rune now starts with 25 warmth and should now be as hard as it was intended to be. 3) Implemented a fix for players who have broken "Darkness and decay" rune before it had an achievement.
- Update! Version 1.1.0: Challenge runes - 28 July 2020
The content update is here! 11 new and challenging runes. New achievements - each of the challenge runes will award an achievement. Faster "Fast Mode" and ability to toggle it from combat screen: Skip the boring parts of fights. Faster overworld movement speed: Less backtracking. Graphically improved battle background. "Darkness And Decay": Corrected deck and added an achievement for breaking this rune. Runes in the endgame area now break. Enemy AI improved. New turn start action: Move hand. Moves cards in the hand to the deck. Soul now deals 1 damage to the player avatar. Instead of refreshing health, Prototype now gains +1 health every turn. It's now also possible to conjure by pressing space. Pressing ESC now closes UI pages. Some extra information about the update: This might be the only content update Magic of Autumn will get. It was never meant to be a large game and I'm running o…
- An update is coming soon! - 24 July 2020
Hey all, For a while now I have been working on an update for Magic of Autumn. Just wanted it to have a bit more stuff and use some of the leftover design space =] This is what it will add: 12 new and challenging runes. New achievements. Each of the new challenge runes will award an achievement. Faster "Fast Mode" and ability to toggle it from combat screen: Skip the boring parts of fights. Faster overworld movement speed: Easier backtracking. Several smaller improvements. I am planning to release it in... a few days actually - if everything goes as planned. Until then! EDIT: My mistake, 11 new runes.
- Please review Magic of Autumn! - 6 March 2020
UPDATE: Magic of Autumn is now making money for me. Thanks for buying =] Hey all, Magic of Autumn is not doing well, I haven't earned $100 yet and because adding the game to Steam costs $100, Magic of Autumn had managed to be a loss of money for me. That sucks, but the situation may improve if the game gets more reviews. So, if you happen to own Magic of Autumn and wish to help me, please leave a review. Just tell me and future buyers what you think, the reviews don't have to be positive or anything =] That's all for now, until next time.
- Update! Version 1.0.4: New rune and leaderboard - 20 February 2020
Hey all, I've made a small update: New rune added to the area that unlocks after breaking "Soul" rune. "Runes broken" leaderboard to give a reason to break all of the runes. Fixed: Poison UI graphical bug. Fixed: "Collector" achievement was not awarded in some situations. Have fun!

- Magic of Autumn release date: February 17! - 5 February 2020
Hey all! Magic of Autumn will become available on February 17, 6:00 am PST! The game will cost $2.99 / £2.09 / €2.39 I began working on Magic of Autumn in 2017, it was a game for a small competition. After the competition was over, I kept working on the game during free time from other, larger projects. In 2019, I've decided to finally finish it, and spend a month adding the last required content, polishing, and fixing issues. I delayed the release a few times and made more improvements based on tester feedback after that month of intense work. That's how the release date ended up pushed to 2020. Magic of Autumn has become very dear to me despite its low-budget nature and I hope it will be able to make at least a few people happy. So that's all for now, let's see what happens on the 17th!
