• Release Date Moved - 15 July 2020

  Release date of VolleyBrawl has now changed to December of this Year. It is my extreme regret not being unable to deliver the game on time. And I apologize to anyone expecting the game to be release soon. Just to be transparent about it, a month ago, I got hired by a different company. VolleyBrawl was a big factor of me being hired and I think it was all because of the Steam Summer Event. So thank you Steam! It was good news for me but bad new for the game. Although my new company encouraged me to finish making VolleyBrawl, I don't think I can do that at the moment. I also want to give my best to them and my new job should be my top priority. So that, plus I need to move to Toronto next month, which is why I am busy at the moment, and I don't have time to continue developing the game. • VolleyBrawl - Demo - Steam Summer Event Festival - 16 June 2020

  The game and the demo are two different versions of VolleyBrawl. The demo was created for the sole purpose of joining the Steam Summer Event Festival. It is there to give you a hint of what the game is but in no way is it exactly the same with the game. The demo No ONLINE features. Online mode is taken out. Steam Remote Play will still work but you need to do that outside of the game. The game 1. Creating a lobby. 2. Joining a lobby. 3. Joining public matches using quick search or matches between friends only. 4. Leaving matches. But we warned leaving a public match will be considered as abandoning a match. Abandoning matches will prevent players using online features for a period of time. 5. Inviting friends or recently played with players to your lobby. 6. Remote play in game invitation. 7. • Alpha to Beta - 6 June 2020

  After 8 months of hard work into the game, VolleyBrawl is now finally able to reach beta stage. Top 10 big features that is has right now: 1. Core Game Play 2. Online Multiplayer 3. Online Lobby System 4. Steam Input Controls (Tested on different controllers - Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, Generic) 5. Steam Remote Play (Remote TV, Remote Phone and Tablet) 6. Steam Voice Chat 7. Stats and Achievements 8. Awesome 3D and 2D audio feedback and background music 9. Tutorial System 10. AI teammates and opponents At this point it is more about testing and polishing. One big issue that is happening with the game right now is random lagging with online matches. It may be a server issue as it doesn't happen all the time. I will try my best to deliver a game where online matches don't suddenly have rubber-banding effect going on.

• VolleyBrawl Joins The Steam Game Festival Summer Edition 6.9.20-6.14.20 - 23 April 2020

  VolleyBrawl will join the Steam Game Festival Summer Edition this year. I will be making a demo for everyone to try out. In this demo you can play 2 robots only, and up to 2 players max. There would be no online features like match making, but, you can still use Steam Remote Play Together if you want to try the game with your online friends. Hopefully that would give you guys a taste of what VolleyBrawl is, and help you decide to buy the full game. At this point, the VolleyBrawl Demo version is almost done. What's left to do is testing and some balancing. The demo is expected to be released on June 1st, but it ultimately depends on testing results. For the Steam Summer Event, I am still undecided if I will host a live chat event.
