• New update - Tutorial - 21 May 2022

  Hi Golfers, A new update is now available for the Whacky Golf demo. This update adds a tutorial to guide new players through the game's mechanics. Gone is the silly blue rules sign. Now there are interactive prompts that appear in the world to show new players the ropes. The tutorial will guide you through finishing your first hole, as well as help in other ways like when to whack other golfers. • New update - Settings changes, FOV changes - 9 May 2022

  Hi Golfers, A new update is now available for the Whacky Golf demo. This update drastically improves the FOV of the game. You will now be able to see more of your surroundings while you play. It also scales more nicely when playing in 2 player mode. Before this, it would look like it was zooming out heaps if a new player joined. I've also added a new setting to change your screen. If your computer has multiple monitors you can now pick which one you want to play on.   Hi golfers, A new update has been released for the Whacky golf demo. This update mainly focuses on improving the menus and bug fixes rather than new features in the game. New changes There is now a SETTINGS SCREEN - Change your audio levels, screen resolution, and more! I noticed on someone's stream that the game was running in the wrong aspect ratio so things looked a bit stretched and weird. Now it should be possible to choose the resolution that fits your screen. Fixes for other resolutions - There's still a number of weird glitches when playing the game not on 1080p, but I've fixed most of the more noticeable issues. UI should scale nicely to whatever resolution you are playing on. • SURPRISE! Whacky Golf has a new demo! - 14 November 2021

  Hi golfers! I had the surreal experience of showing Whacky Golf at a local festival yesterday, and the reactions I saw of people playing were more positive than I could have imagined. It looks like Whacky Golf already has some big fans out there. So this is for those fans - A new demo that's free to download and play at home. Unlike the last demo, I'm planning on keeping this one up all the way until the game gets a proper release. Tell your friends, tell your enemies, and find some people you can play Whacky Golf with. For those who haven't seen any updates, the game looks very different to the last demo. • Whacky Golf demo available now! - 30 September 2021

  Hi golfers, As part of Steam Next Fest October, I've just released a free demo for Whacky Golf! Really excited to have the first publicly playable version of the game out there. This demo has local multiplayer, basic character creation, and a single course to play on to give you a taste of what it's like to play Whacky Golf. Whacky Golf is more fun with friends, so grab a couple this weekend or try Remote Play Together to get a game going. A full Early Access release is still some time away, so I encourage everyone to leave some feedback about the game and let me know if there are any bugs. • Whacky Golf will be at Steam Next Fest! - 25 September 2021

  Hi whacky people, I'm happy to announce that Whacky Golf will be appearing in the Steam Next Fest from October 1 to October 7 - that's less than a week from now! I've been working real hard to have a demo available that captures the fun and chaos of what Whacky Golf is all about. This is the first time the public will be able to get their hands on the game! It's a bit nerve-wracking, but I'm sure y'all are gonna love it! The demo allows up to four local players to play together on at least one course. You'll need controllers for multiplayer, so make sure to have one handy in time for the demo! There's a lot more work to be done between the demo and release, so I'm looking forward to your feedback on the game, what you enjoy, and what you're looking forward to.
