You can also play in a new region of the Morrison formation called the Scrublands. Thank you all for being with us across this journey, here's to many more years of Pangea!

- Removing Testing Branch - 14 April 2021
Hey everyone! There seemed to be a bunch of confusion regarding which branch people were supposed to play on. People have been playing the testing branch which has tons of problems, and hasn't been updated in months. So to combat this, I have removed the Testing-Branch. You should all be on the most up-to-date version of the game now, and not have to worry about freezing and the game not responding. Thanks for your time! - Rev
- The Update is out! - 9 April 2021
Well Folks, it's been a very long time since we had a public update for the game, in fact the last update was in December. I know it has been rough waiting all of this time for updates, especially regarding the saving system, but I think you all will find this a content-packed patch to the game. We now have over 50 playable dinosaurs, 90+ AI creatures, and an overall better ecosystem for dinosaurs and humans. Even Multiplayer has received some much-needed improvements, and it has been optimized to run better than it ever has, although it is still in an earlier phase of development. Below are just some of the newest additions to the game: New Playables: Troodon - Australovenator - Albertosaurus - Pachyrhinosaurus - Edmarka - Guanlong Revised Playables: - Tyrannosaurus rex - Ceratosaurus New A.I.: - Ugrunaaluk (My personal favorite AI), Edmontosaurus regalis - Diamantinasaurus, Rapetosaur…
- Patch to the Save System - 30 December 2020
In addition to the Unlocked Dinosaurs being fixed. We have a feature that allows you to teleport your dinosaur back to their initial spawn location. Press 'Esc' or 'P', then wait for the save counter to finish and press the 'Reset Player Location.' This should be a temporary fix for dinosaurs spawning under a map.
- Jesus Saves, So Should You... - 26 December 2020
A Merry Belated Christmas to All! This has been a long time coming, but the save system is finally ready for the main branch! Simply press 'P' or 'Esc' to bring up your menu and you can save, load or delete existing data for each species. Deleting one save won't delete every one, so don't worry. Saves work on a single map basis, so if you save your Deinonychus on Gondwana, it won't load on Pangea Major; however Unlocked Dinosaurs persist across the game, so you don't have to unlock them again. Also added this update is the rudimentary Gallery. It currently contains no information, just models of the in-game dinosaur assets; this will continue to be updated. - Saltasaurus A.I now implemented - We've added more lakes across both maps. - Minor UI updates. - Reimplented the Grass Density Slider, for Performance. WARNINGS/ KNOWN BUGS - Double-saving seems to cause issues, so if you can't rem…
- Progression System Implemented. - 24 November 2020
Hey All, We have finally pushed the build that has the new progression system in it. You will have to switch your build in the betas tab from 'testing' back to 'default'. You will now have to spawn in as a "Starter" Dinosaur, and progress you way up through the "Level Up!" Menu. Note: there is another button literally called "Progression", which is, ironically, NOT the menu you want; it will be removed soon. Your level up screen can be accessed by pressing Esc or P, once you've opened it you can see your progression options as well as power/speed and temperature options. Changing Power or Temperature stats will cost 2 pts each time. Press the arrows up or down to increase power and decrease speed, or flip that on its head. Same with the Temperature system. There are some issues with the build, just be sure to point them out to us as you discover them. Patch Notes: Maps: Gondwana map now…
- Testing Branch is Live! - 31 October 2020
Hi All, It has been two long months since any major game update. As much as I would love to have gotten this to you all earlier, and with fewer problems, I have decided that this testing branch will be for the best. I have implemented several new features. - Temperature System - Biome System - Rudimentary Progression System (Only available on carnosaurs) - A Level Up system. Furthermore, I have added multiple new species for the test branch. All of which are playable, with the exception of the tiny Nanosaurus. I will need players to send in bug reports about problems they experience. Known Issues: - The New Map, Pangea Major takes between 5-10 minutes to load on any machine it has been tested on. Unknown cause. - Some Dinosaurs are still missing some features,…

- Chapter One Begins - 21 August 2020
Welcome to Pangea Survival, Chapter 1.0 We thank you for purchasing this game, and hope you have lots of fun in the days, weeks, months, and years to come. Since we are in early access, we are asking you to be paitent with any and all issues you discover in our game, and report them either via our Discord bug-reports channel or our Steam Discussions page. Online gameplay is in an Alpha Stage, as such, multiplayer can be extremely unreliable at times. For example, respawning has consistently caused server crashes, so to avoid this, we made a server elimination system, that proceeds to remove players from the server on death. We hope that this measure is just a temporary work around. Human gameplay online seems to be the most volatile, so be mindful of that. Singleplayer gameplay is centered around dinosaur missions, and while only a couple of species (Epanterias and Majungasaurus) have r…
- Delay is Not Forever - 19 July 2020
Hey All, I know all of you were excited about the release. So, I will be frank: we will not be releasing Pangea Survival tomorrow. A situation arose in our approval process that will set us back, at the very least, for a few days. Furthermore, some of you might have noticed that when the release date became public, I made comments about not being sure it would release, but that we were working toward it; this happened because I had a mix up between the "Original Release Date" mentioned in the Steam process, and the actual release date on the store page. I had unintentionally set the public release date, when it wasn't ready to be revealed. Naturally, once this happened, I wanted to correct the mistake, however resetting release dates on Steam, requires an separate approval process, and with only days to go, I decided to try to meet the goal first. I'm letting you know this, because we w…
