Hey Gamers, The Square Game is a project I made in 2019 and I've worked on an update for the better part of 2020, this has primarily been a solo project but its been helped by countless others by playtesting to shape it in to the game it is today, and by two other collaborators to help with some art and music. When working on the game I always put gameplay first and tried to make my small indie project with as many fun and challenging levels as possible. It would mean the world to me if you could nominate it for a Steam Award. You can only nominate a game for a single category, so if it's not your Steam Game of the Year, I'd appreciate it if you could consider it in other categorises such as The Labour of Love Award , The Best Game you suck at Award, or even The Outstanding Story-Rich Award if you liked the story. A NEW UPDATE In this new update I've added some cool things - New Cut Scenes: I wasn't happy with the ending so I've added another cut scene at the end that wraps up the story nicely and I added one at the start to show where you actually end up after you are shot down. - New Background: some players found it hard to see where you moving on a static background so I've added some texture to it I hope it helps - A New World: I've hand crafted 6 more levels, these are probably the hardest 6 levels I've made so you'll be in for a challenge -A New Boss: I really like this boss its the hardest boss yet - I hope you enjoy these changes to the game, Aiden J.
