- Race Condition 1.1.1 Update - 24 May 2022
This update modifies the fuel consumption algorithm in such a way that regardless of the race length, 3-4 pit stops will be sufficient for completing a race. The motivation behind this change is the new Quick Race configuration which lets you set up much longer races than in the past. In such a race, of say 30 laps, you would have to pit around 10 times which is a bit excessive. This update addresses that problem by recalculating the fuel consumption so that 3-4 pit stops is all that's needed. This change only applies to the Quick Race game mode.

The February 2022 edition of Steam Next Fest has come to an end and, as many of you know, Race Condition was part of the festival with a playable demo, as well as a live stream where Marcus did a playthrough of the first 40 minutes of the game. At the same time, gaming website PCInvasion took a deep dive into everything the festival had to offer in an attempt to find their absolute favorites. Eventually, after searching through and reviewing many of the over 600 demos available, only eight games remained - and we are happy to see that Race Condition secured a spot on this exclusive list. Race Condition is described as timelessly beautiful with solid mechanics and the game audio is considered a special highlight. Thanks a lot PCInvasion! :-) --> Click here to read the full story

The game also features time trial racing, quick race and split-screen multiplayer, as well as online leaderboards, different car setups, steam achievements, a great retro soundtrack and more. - Dev Update - Pitstops, Online Leaderboards and more! - 20 August 2021
Hi guys! We're making lots of progress on the game and in this post we'll highlight a number of features and recent additions which we are especially excited about. Pitstops This has been one of the most requested features, and we're happy to let you know that pitstops will be an integrated part of the racing experience. We've equipped the cars with fuel tanks, which means that, on longer races, cars will need to pit mid-race for refueling. This creates a new dimension to the gameplay and lets you experiment with different pitstop strategies in order to optimize your race performance. We're really happy with the way this feature turned out, and how it makes the races feel even more dynamic, and fun! Online Leaderboards Another much requested feature is online leaderboards. This is now part of the game and you will be able to compare your results against other drivers around the world. O…
