• The Manor - 27 June 2021

  This update adds a new location to explore in Frockthorpe: an abandoned manor house. Other additions include a new character to talk to (but you'll have to save her first), purchasable rope, and new inventory icons.

• All stages complete - 23 January 2021

  Stage 4 has been in development for a few weeks, and most of that time has been spent figuring out how to write it. It is the final stage of the game, and features your character in their twilight years. Essentially it involves making choices about how you feel you've spent your time, whether you have regrets, and how to best ensure people remember you after you are gone. Following this it will be possible to play the game from start to finish. It is recommended to start a fresh save.

• Stage 4 - Elderly - 14 January 2021

  Stage 4 is well into development. The below image shows how the in-game choices are planned in advance. This stage will allow you to shape the ending you receive, and will allow players to continue until their character's demise. Once this is released I will continue to add more content that expands the game further, although there will not be stages beyond the fourth (that would not make sense from a narrative perspective).

• Christmas Updates - 11 December 2020

  A Christmas tree has been planted in the middle of your neighbourhood, and it will be there until the holidays are over. Here is a summary of the recent content additions/changes: It is possible to receive promotions at work if you are performing well. These can be given up to five times, each increasing salary by 10%. You can leave your job and start another by going to the job centre, located at the south end of the town square. The derelict church has been added. The priest can be spoken to. He has a new quest/task on which to send the player. Fight with the evil entity that lurks beneath the church. This fight is intended for players who have high stats. NPC dialogue changes and additions.
