• Improved Performance - 24 May 2020

  Hello sorry for the late update. Core game is now updated to the latest engine version and I made few changes that improve performance and lighting. Also if anyone interested I am looking for beta testers for (Anime Studio Tycoon) it was supposed to release after cbt but pushed it so I can improve core gameplay skipped the same mistake I made with this game. Improved performance. Improved lighting. Fixed typos. Fixed issue with pressing alt-tab freezing game. Fixed bug when the comic sequel is released popup doesn't show the comic name.

  Hello, I made the following changes with this build. New Office for level 0. Changed Overall UI. Fixed Topic panel bugs. Reuptation points are now more balanced. Fixed double tutorial bug. Added option to see character dynamics and films option.

  Hello, This is minor update it will update UI of the game. About 70% of UI is updated few panels should be updated tomorrow. It looks much better than previous version, Once I am done with this I am hoping to finish character dynamics by april 3rd.

• New Character Dynamics - 26 March 2020

  Hello, Even game is not in early access I am still updating it almost daily Here is steamdb's link SteamDb So don't worry I am not abandoning the game any time soon. I just dont make annoucement or patch notes with every update. Since the past few days, I am redesigning character dynamics. It changes how comic characters' stats affect your comics. Here you can see there are now few new options relations, series, finance, popularity and films. In relation, you can see character dynamic with his love or enemy. Finance shows various financial stats and other options for the character, I am planning to add advertisement option for particular character over here. Also, you can sell the rights of your character(Only if any studio is interested in it). Selecting a studio with a bad reputation may result in the bad movie getting produced and in turn will negatively affect characters popularity.…

• Bugfixes and new changes - 24 March 2020

  Following is a long list of changes I made yesterday and today, Fixed many crucial bugs also added a few small features. Now you can set when to end comic production(basically end series with last comic). Fixed sequel name. Fixed duplicate listing of characters. Changed text in tutorials. Fixed numerous bugs in the research topic panel. Now it needs at least one employee to make any comic. Players point generation is now balanced. Unlockables: Scale is now unlockable features new scales will be added periodically. Added another hint in slider's windows( ,-,=) etc. character limit for sequels. Fixed issue when developing multiple comics together. Multiple comic is now locked feature, It will be unlocked when players reach the last office. Bugs in character listing. • Automate Production Process - 22 March 2020

  Hello guys, I normally update games multiple times and write a post before calling it a day. Here are new additions in the game. Now it is possible to automate the production process when you reach the production phase you will get prompt asking to choose if you want to self produce or not. Contractor demands 20% royalty and some money upfront depending upon the scale of the comic. Scale is now tied with unlockables(new addition) medium, large size is only available when you upgrade your office. Advertisement is now disabled at the beginning, it will unlock once certain conditions met. Monthly office cost tweaked. Monthly production upkeep cost tweaked. Review algorithm tweaked. Bug fix: Sequel name repeating. Added limit to how many characters could be added in every comic(For Creating universe). Tooltips are now disabled. A warning will generate if no copies produced.

• Home office is available now - 21 March 2020

  Hello, I just added home office in-game, I afraid save games might not work(If you have any employees, you need to fire them else it should work). The reason I didn't add home office at the start because I wanted to make the game more realistic but while doing that I forget that game should be equally fun too. Now I am working on tooltips and making the game more balanced with the addition of start office, sell algorithm and points generation need tweaking. Here is change log New Office is available now. Fixed issue with sequel topic. Now, sequel will be named as Name#(Issue Number). The financial panel will now show more information like mothly cost of employee etc. Other minor fixes

  Hello, I updated game 6-7 times today. I just released the final update for today. Now I am working on adding tooltip's and improving tutorial section. Ability to edit character. Now games show review panel more in-depth. Ability to select starting money. Optimized sell algorithm. Added monthly office cost(3k). Window Mode. Pause game by pressing P. Fixed punctuations errors. Added more topics at the start. Now With Action and Drama, Comedy genre is also unlocked at start. Set founder's type. Fixed bug in topic research menu.

• Addressing all negative reviews - 20 March 2020

  Hello, Game launched yesterday but did not get any good reviews yet. I want to address a few issues. I agree with reviewers that some of my design choices are questionable and I did not explain many in-game mechanisms that well. But, I still believe that I can make the game much better, I already planned out roadmap but I still need your help, I am completely ok if you want to criticise game but please post what you hated and what you like to see in it. It will help me to understand and make the game much better. Thanks

• Launch and what is next - 19 March 2020

  Hello, Comic book tycoon will release on 19th March for $4.99 with 18% launch discount. Please note that even game is cheap does not mean that it is low effort rip off of any game. Since beta last week many things are improved and changed in-game. Even the game is out now I do have some additional content line up. My first focus will be on balancing game so I will like to hear all of your input on that. Also if you have any suggestions please post it on forum. I hope you guys will enjoy the game.

  Hello, My target was to release the game on 9th of march but more I play the game it feels like something is missing. I don't think it is well balanced, Also I don't want to release half baked product on steam that is why I need your help I am hosting beta on itch io.
