- Beasts of Fortune is released! - 6 August 2025
If you enjoyed High Strategy: Urukon, you might enjoy our newest game: Beasts of Fortune, which is out today.Beasts of Fortune is a roaming warband roguelike. You play as a band of mercenaries roaming an open world. Combat happens in an autobattler style. While traveling, you have to deal with terrain, weather, and regional conditions. Oh, and lots of enemies.Somewhat uniquely, possible units are procedurally generated each game. So you couldn't fall into a meta rut even if you wanted to.The game gets harder over time, and you have to keep up. But the game will never force a goal or quest on you: everything is optional, and you always have the freedom to do something else.

- v1.0.5 - 22 June 2020
Infiltrate discount may no longer exceed 90%. This additionally fixes a bug that was causing crashes when trying to capture a city with a 100% discount. Prosperity now decays more at higher values. Fixed a problem that was causing the Steam screenshot button to do nothing.
- v1.0.4 - 12 June 2020
Added a "Large Print" mode that increases the size of resource icons and small text. Available under Settings. Fixed a bug that permitted the populations of some cities to go negative (including automatic repair for existing affected save games). Rebalanced blood drinker and wilderness raids: less likely to target small cities, reduced population loss, increases damage to prosperity.
- v1.0.3 - 5 June 2020
Excavation rebalance: base chance to find a relic increased, effect of excavation depth on relic chance reduced, effect of excavation depth on action cost reduced, resource yield not affected. The Yields tab for cities below equilibrium control now also shows how many resources the city is expected to yield once it reaches equilibrium control. City details now show the rate of change for Current Control and Prosperity. Minor adjustments to various numbers (shouldn't be noticeable to most players).
- v1.0.2 - 1 June 2020
Improved support for screens larger than 1080p. A definitive solution remains elusive, owing to the use of large drawn images (it seemed like a good idea at the time).
- v1.0.1 released - 27 May 2020
Fixed a bug where relics that modify adjacency effects weren't working correctly. Adjusted starting relations to better work with the worldbuilding. Minor UI improvements.
