• Weekly Update #2 - 24 June 2022

  This week I wanted to define the maze areas more, making it more like levels as you move forward. Part one of the Maze will have levels 1-5, each level has its own vegetation, animals, weather and crafting skills. Each time you move to a new level you will gain new crafting recipes that will help you in the new level. Level 1 The Meadows ( Rabbits, Deer, Chickens, Frogs) Level 2 The Forest ( Wild Boar, Rabbits, Snakes) Level 3 The Mountains ( Wild Boar, Wolves, Snakes, Bears) Level 4 The Jungle ( Wild Boar, Snakes, Wild Cats, Fire Ants, Killer Bees) Level 5 The Dead Forest (Scorpions, Snakes, Wolves, Fire Ants ) Keep in mind that the animals you see listed only spawn during the day, at night the dead walk the maze and look for the living. The dead only spawn at night and only on levels 2-15. Level one is used to get the player to gameplay, there are no deadly animals that spawn anywhere…

  Added new character to character preview Reworked some of the images used in the character UI Increased the size of the inventory slots to better see Changed Font for crafting panel

• Fixes For save and Stone Axe - 14 June 2022

  This quick update will fix the axe falling through the ground, I have tested several times and the issue is resolved from my test. Also fixes the Save, as of the last update you can now only save from a shelter, I was able to save at different times in all 4 slots, then I died and loaded one of the saved slots and it loaded fine, then I cleared all the saves and saved again. So the save seems to be fixed and working, I didn't notice once or twice it didn't seem to click, but I would double click the save slot and it would work. It does take a minute for it to save, but it works fine saving and loading .

• Weekly Update #1 - 13 June 2022

  Hello all you awesome gamers, this is our first of many weekly updates as we push forward with improvements for The Maze. We want to thank all of you that have bought the game so far your support is appreciated, we also want to encourage everyone to join our Discord and make suggestions to improve the game, one of the reasons for early access was to gain input from the players on what they would like to see in The Maze. Thanks again for your support. Discord Things to come, some of what we are working on for next week. Map Improvements are something that will happen every week until the map is complete, For now the map is fully playable and you can reach the end, its just some of the map is still kind of boring looking, we are hand placing and decorating the map a little at a time. The map is absolutely huge , even if you knew the complete way to the end it would take hours to get there…

• Early Access Release - 7 June 2022

  The first release of The Maze is now available to play, remember this is an early access game and this is the first release. The Maze is a very large 3D maze where you as a first person player will need to find your way out, you will have to survive the environment to find the exit, craft weapons, and tools to help you along the way, Hunt and forage for food to keep you alive, and find a safe place to sleep at night to recover your energy. The maze is full of surprises so keep your eye on everything, Animals roam the maze during the day, and the dead roam at night. No one has ever found the exit, will you be the first one. Although the game is fully playable, and you can complete Part one of the maze, there is still a lot of work to be done, so show your support and join out Discord to give suggestions and help us find the bugs.
