• Twofold releasing later this month! - 2 October 2023

  Hi everyone! Elanfest '23 was streamed live today, and with it came a wealth of Twofold news and information! For those who aren't aware, First Snow is a prequel side story to Twofold, featuring a few of the same characters. First off, here's the latest trailer for Twofold: Twofold is releasing this month! We have a couple dates we're aiming for, and will reveal a finalized day a week or two prior to release. We're also hoping to have an OST and artbook ready to go on release as well! To make the wait a little easier, we're also launching a free demo, available right now! This demo goes over most of the introductory act of the game, and also includes a bonus scene exclusive to the demo that bridges the gap between the post-credits scene of First Snow and the start of Twofold, as told from Hayley's (Caprice and Millie's roommate) point of view. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1749770/…

  On August 19th, 2020, First Snow released for free on Steam & itch.io ❄️ It's been 3 years since First Snow, the wlw prequel to Twofold, released! Since then thousands of players have played it and the game has over 550 reviews! As our 2nd title to be released through our publishing branch Bellhouse, the reception has been overwhelmingly positive. To celebrate, we have a few new things to share! • First Snow 1.1 Voice Acting update, and merch! - 21 January 2022

  Hi everyone! We're pushing out a big update for First Snow with partial voice acting! Check out our blog post for the full details on where to get our new merch! Keep in mind that, as before, updating will most likely break your save files. 1.1 Patch notes Partial voice acting has been added. CGs and other notable events are fully voiced, while moments that use sprites use repeatable voice lines! The volume slider for voice acting is now unlocked by default Additionally, a voice emphasis toggle has been added to the menu Speech bubbles will now display when a voice line is played. "..." is shown when a fully voiced line plays, while "!" is shown when a repeatable line is used Various small typos and other errors fixed

  Hello everyone! We wanted to give a quick rundown on the upcoming update for First Snow.   Hi everyone! we're pushing out an update for First Snow now that should cover a good amount of issues reported in the past few months. • Hotfix released, potential savegame issues - 25 August 2020

  Hey everyone! We hope you've been enjoying reading Allison and Eileen's story! We just released a small hotfix which should fix some startup crash issues some people were encountering in rare circumstances. Unfortunately though, it may be the case that your savegame got confused with the update. This would show by the game suddenly returning to the title screen at the end of a scene: don't worry, it's not the end of the game! Sadly, the best thing we can suggest you to do in these cases is to start a new game and skip to the point you left off. You can fast-forward through the game to get back faster by holding the CTRL button! A future update will aim to provide a better fallback mechanism for these cases. Please enjoy First Snow, and feel free to let us know about any issues you encounter in the discussion forums!
