This year is coming to an end so we wanted to recap what has happened with the game after its release: We improved the hint system Made it possible to play the game with just your mouse Changed some puzzles based on your recommendations Introduced trading cards and emoticons Optimized every level, by reducing texture sizes and polygon density Greatly improved the Russian, French and German translations with the help of some remarkable community members And of course fixed numerous bugs, from saving issues to mysteriously appearing items We feel that the game has reached a state that we are content with and decided to focus our attention on porting it to other platforms. • Trading cards are here for Gordian Rooms! - 12 November 2020

  Hello everyone! We are delighted to let you know that Steam trading cards have been added to the game and along with this other community features have been unlocked as well, you can now: Include the game in your Game Collector showcase. Display in-game items in the "Item Collector" and "Items To Trade" showcases. Display game achievements in your Achievement Showcase. Plus, from now on the game counts towards your Achievement and Game collector badge on Steam. There are six cards for you to collect and here are the emoticons you can unlock: Earlier this week we uploaded a small patch that fixed a peculiar bug in the Study and we also made it possible for the telephone puzzle in the Lounge to accept another solution based on your feedback.   Fixes for two rare bugs: Upon loading a save from the Basement level's end the game crashed Couldn't take the painting tile from the half barrel puzzle in the kitchen Hopefully these will never appear again. Please tell us if you experience anything strange.

Here is the latest update for Gordian Rooms: The German translation has been completely reworked thanks to the wonderful work of glaeser.d Fixed some typos in the French translation Added a counter for the HINT system, now it should be easier to understand why a hint doesn’t change and wheter there are more helpful hints Added a dedicated back button for all camera scenes so now you can use this as well as the right mouse click Added a dedicated menu button, with this you can truly play through the game with just a mouse Added key combinations to skip between levels (reasons outlined below) Made several optimizations to the game so it should run better on lower end systems Unfortunately the save system is not very stable and after each update some players reported that their save files were corrupted.   Hello everyone! We just finished the first trailer for Gordian Rooms: A curious heritage. It shows the premise of the game and the some parts of the first level. If everything goes as planned you will be able to try this very level for completely free sometime in September. We made a separate page for the Prologue version of the game so be sure to add it to your wishlist to get notified on launch. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1386790/ Alternatively, there is also a Demo version that will be available at the same time. This is the exact same build of the first level of the game. So you can truly decide however you'd like to try the game.
