- Patched 1.08 -> 1.09 - 1 July 2020
It's an update to the game. Would have come earlier, but Offy D Corp has been very busy recently! ADDED: - New 'Hero Mode' option for New Game Plus. This makes you begin with only your player character, and recruitment is disabled. Basically, you have to solo the game. You also get 1 extra stat point to apply during character creation, so your solo hero will be a cut above the usual AML agents. Pick your loadout and strategy wisely! This mode is TOTALLY untested, might even be impossible, let me know if you have any thoughts on it. - If you have unlocked New Game Plus, you can now pick the upgraded class sprites for your player characters - that's Specialist, Aviary Guard, and Charger. Also, if you have unlocked the 'bonus class' by reaching the final ending of the game, you now can pick that for your player character sprite as well. CHANGED: - A MASSIVE ARRAY OF SPELLING AND GRAMMAR ER…

Steam crashed when I posted the original notes, and now I am too mad to write them all out again. Here's the quick version: ADDED: - Gloves Off Mode as a new game plus options. Removes many hidden advantages the player gets, mainly things that stop the AI attacking the player so much on the world map. Makes the game harder, for those of you who wanted extra challenge! CHANGED: - Autoresolves will now be nicer to the player when difficulty is low. 2* battles very rarely give losses from what I have tested now. The actual change is that the mid-battle autoresolve safe rules are now accounted for in the simulation. Some people were saying autoresolves were too harsh, so this should help. - When you repeatedly capture bases in battle, the exp and resources gained declines each time. Removes a grindy exploit for infinite exp and resources if battles where you can't take any damage. It has a…
- Patched 1.07 -> 1.071 - 23 May 2020
FIXED: - It was possible to get 'autoresolve safe' in a battle if you had allies helping and they all died. This was due to bad programming from me - the 0 remaining allies fed into some equations and caused a divide by zero error, which gave the player infinite simulated combat power! You could use this to theoretically win any battle, as long as you sacrificed an ally party during it. Now, sadly, you have to do it the regular way. But still, sacrifice your allies anyway, just for fun!
- Patched 1.06 -> 1.07 - 22 May 2020
A couple of handy features have been added, plus some fixing/balancing. ADDED: - A New Game Plus option called 'Attack Debuff Mode'. This makes ALL attacks have the effect you can get via the AML HQ upgrades, where it reduces the target's stats for a turn. This includes attacks against you! You can still get the HQ upgrade, which should make it twice as powerful for the player i.e. you get 2 debuffs per hit. Have only tested for like 5 minutes, so this may be terribly unbalanced; consider it an experimental mode. - You can now click on the little Map that comes up via the 'Map' button, which will jump the camera to the corresponding point in the world. - You can hold the Space bar while moving around the world, and the usual camera jumps will not happen. So it won't move the camera to show nearby AI moves, or jump back to you at the start of your turn. Use to explore the map while the A…
- Patched 1.05 -> 1.06 - 20 May 2020
Fixed a couple more things, and did 'something' to address the can't-select-stuff bug. FIXED: - If you loaded a save that was before a battle while the game was already before a battle, it could cause a mess up with the music that would make the battle initiation music play on through the whole battle, or keep playing on the map if you cancelled the battle. That shouldn't happen anymore! - It was possible to make the AI not correctly finish moving a party if you clicked around right after a battle, before you had closed the post-battle screens. I don't think this really did anything interesting, but now it stays on the intended path through the code, so that's probably a good thing. "FIXED": - I have once again changed some stuff to reduce chance of the softlock-esque bug. I won't rant about it here, but I found something I thought might cause it in such a fashion that it would appear r…
- Patched 1.04 -> 1.05 - 19 May 2020
Solving a big glitch before it affects more people, and a small glitch just for fun. FIXED: - If you gave a quest target settlement to the AML (such as in new game plus with Unrestricted AML Bases enabled), and the quest caused the original owning faction to be defeated by this capture, it would cause the player to take control of the whole faction. This breaks all kinds of things, as lots of code assumes only one party can exist at a time. Now it goes to your master faction, as intended. Should of thought of this before, huh? - If you spam-clicked on the 'Switch' button, just having two agents constantly switch places, this would previously make them get stuck together in the middle of their positions. Now, it really does just make them switch places over and over again. This is pointless, but I like fixing glitches anyway.
- Patched 1.03 -> 1.04 - 18 May 2020
New game version! ADDED: -You can now enable 'fast animations' in the options menu. This makes battle combat animations be about twice as fast, for quick and breezy killing. SECRET TIP: Even with this option turned off, you can hold down the Space bar to increase animation speed as well. FIXED: -Prevented a random crash that can occur during the AI turns on the world map, caused by mysteriously missing data. What causes the data to go missing? You are asking too many questions. -You can no longer click on the End Turn button while a unit you've just given an order to is moving. Required some quick mouse work to actually do, but it caused all kinds of glitches. Now nothing happens. -Same as above, but with the Camp Menu button in battles. -In the Options menu, if you cancelled your changes, it didn't actually cancel your changes to the AI marker toggle in the Battle tab. Now it will! "FI…
- Patched 1.02 -> 1.03 - 17 May 2020
New version released. Nothing too exciting here. FIXES - In the 2nd 'defection' story path, if you did the secondary objective before the main one, the next phase of the campaign had assorted issues. Not anymore! - Restored missing tool-tip on the health stat of enemies while viewing a combat. "FIXES" - Made some changes that may reduce the chances of the random 'can't give orders' glitch. May also make it worse. I dunno, I just work here. You can press Ctrl+U to solve it if it happens, but the actual causes(s) remain unknown. I have some leads to investigate for next time though. PLANS -Thinking of doing a couple of QoL improvements, including faster map scrolling and ability to skip combat animations/delays. Also going to try and find more information on the glitch mentioned above. -Investigating an issue that lets you win an autoresolve in a fight where you are about to lose. Can't r…
