- Leaderboard bug fix + general news - 29 May 2020
Hey everyone, I hope you're doing ok out there! I found a pretty annoying bug today and I fixed it. I was trying to load the leaderboards and the game froze. My computer had run out of memory. I dug deeper and I found out that Arena was not just creating UI elements for the top 12 players, it was creating UI elements for EVERYONE who had any sort of score. This wasn't really a problem when there weren't that many players but now that there are thousands of players, my little laptop couldn't handle the heat! I fixed it though - and as an added bonus, instead of showing the top 12, it now shows the top 40 players. In other news, I am working on a big update! It includes a bigger, badder arena, some new enemy types, and a new character to play as! I have been reading the comments and taking your feedback into consideration (special thanks to Webbinmaine).
