Hi everyone, just a quick update on the new patch we've released today. The patch includes: NEW FEATURES Added screen-mode option to graphics settings menu. Allows full-screen exclusive or full-screen windowed modes. BUG FIX Fixed a bug where the diver taking damage at the same moment they exit a level could cause the game to hang. Fixed a bug that caused unexpected behaviour when the diver died while holding the possession button. SPOILER FIXES Gameplay & Balancing Improvements Removed one of the three bobbit worms in Chapter 4, Scene 2 (Bobbit Tunnels 1). This makes the puzzle solution more straightforward to execute once the player has figured it out, giving the player more room to safely manoeuvre creatures through that area. - Underwater side-scroller Silt could learn a lot from Rain World - 6 June 2022
There are a few moments from Playdead’s Inside that will live rent-free in my head forever, but my favourite involves a submarine. After you steal the underwater vessel from some unwitting researchers, you crash through a barricade, revealing an entire sunken realm of sky rises, office blocks, and yes, a creepy water troll that tries to drown you and I still shudder to think of. But it did get me thinking about the potential of setting a gloomy side-scroller underwater. Enter Silt... Read more.
- Silt review: there are plenty of fish in the sea but they're all trying to kill you - 1 June 2022
Has anyone coined the term Limbolike yet? 2D side-scrolling platformers that are a bit Tim Burton-y, and possibly in monochrome. Y'know the ones? Silt is a Limbolike, only it's Limbo under the sea. Other free-wheeling associations I have made include Minute Of Islands and, most weirdly, Gormenghast. But having mentioned the later, and because people who like Gormenghast really bloody like Gormenghast (a reasonable position), and respond to its evocation like Chekhov's dogs let loose at the eleventh annual Ringing World National Youth Championship competition, I'm now going to have to temper expectations back down. For example, some plants you can use to solve puzzles, and a variety of critters can be possessed. See what you can interact with, but always have an escape route planned… Expect the unexpected SILT is full of surprises, a…

Dive into a surreal underwater world in Silt, coming early 2022 Hello everyone! We just revealed our first trailer at the PC Gaming Show earlier today, so if you haven’t yet seen it, here it is... Silt is an underwater exploration game set in the depths of an oceanic void, where you play as a diver searching the deep to uncover long-forgotten mysteries. As you explore the depths you’ll encounter deep sea goliaths and use the diver’s ability to possess sea creatures, helping you solve environmental puzzles and dive deeper on your journey. Playing into our own fears of the deep to create a harrowing sense of atmosphere and dread has been key to us while developing Silt, and we hope you get a sense of the mood we’re aiming for from the trailer.…
