Map Changes Added a huge new section to the map. There's now a second Cook Clothing. There's now a second entrance to F&E Food and Drugs. Added more crates in the new area. Added another item crate by F&E Drugs and Food. Removed a light pole that kept killing players. Gameplay Lowered the velocity of Alien Deterrent. Made the Lightshow more accurate. Lowered the price on Concentrated Alien Blood. Visual Effects Added Ray Tracing settings. Made the effects on plasmna throwers less taxing. Winter is now over, so there's no more snow. Players that equipped the Santa Hat over winter, will still be able to use it on that save. Updated the animations for both clock cyclers. Updated the look of lasers in game.

Added two new end-game weapons: Taze's Terror Thrower and The Triple Threat. Taze's Terror Thrower is a plasma thrower with a built in Legionnaire Fusion Blaster that does a total of 300,000 DPS. The Triple Threat is a laser gun that shoots three laser beams at once as the first laser shotgun. It also does 300,000 DPS. Winter comes to Dione too with snow on the ground and a free hat available in the clothing store. Snow will not show on low-end visual effect settings. The last achievement now triggers for any of the end-game weapons (300,000 DPS). Added a fading death animation for enemies when using high or greater visual effect quality. Added an animation when starting a new game for the rocket landing. Lowered the amount of blood in an effort to raise performance. Updated the Main Menu. Changed the look and sound of buttons in the UI. Updated the animation for getting a new weapon.

- Harder aliens now do more damage. - Turrets are now stationary and have no collision. - Turrets can now be put back into your inventory to be placed back down through the hardware shop. - Greatly increased the effectiveness of Alien Deterrent. - Fixed a bug where you could get launched out of the map and not be able to get back in. - Fixed the ironsights on some weapons. - Fixed some UI issues and cohesion.

UPDATE AVAILABLE NOW! HALLOWEEN EVENT STARTING SOON! New hardware item: Phase Drones! These are small flying robots that shoot at aliens for a limited duration with damage that scales to your level. Another new hardware item: Alien Deterrent! Using this throws out a smoke releasing grenade that lasts for a while and aliens will not enter it. In preparation for Halloween - there is now an event planned! Let the lights go dim and celebrate with a free pumpkin hat and pumkin crates! on the map and another free hat! Halloween pumpkin hat and map adjustments only available for the days surrounding Halloween. Projectiles should now go over fences. Fixed some of the building textures where bricks looked like they were inside out.

Added a new playable character: Parser. It's a robot. Added a new gun: Fang Storm. It's an early game gun that shoots two bouncing bullets at a time. Buffed the Quantum Integrator of Justice and the Prophecy of Vengeance. Updated the HUD to look cleaner. Added animations for getting effects and them going away in the HUD. Changed the amped mode font. Made transitions black. New wave screen is now translucent.

Hardware Added a new hardware type: The Slime Vaporizer. It removes slime from the ground in a radius around the player and gives health back based on how much slime was removed. Added another new hardware type: The Landmine. This object explodes when aliens step off of it. It doesn't chain explode like explosive barrels. Lowered the DPS on barbed wire, caltrops, and road spikes a little bit. Changed the price of most hardware items to be more affordable and strategically useful. Consumables Added a new Drug Store item: The Subatomic Clock Cycler, which lets the player's gun shoot 4x as fast. Added another new Drug Store item: The Nebula Orb, which spawns an orb around the player that deals damage to enemies inside of it. - Captain Clive Building Update - 19 August 2020
v1.1.0 of Captain Clive: Danger From Dione is here! Here's what I've got for you today This release adds new building features. Players can now place destructable walls and explosive barrels to kite enemies or establish paths. These are purchasable at the hardware store or from hardware crates. Players can press shift to show an outline of where their hardware will be placed before doing so. There are three new enemies. These enemies have shields harder than the basic shields and break into more aliens when killed. Amped mode now has crates. Hardware crates drop 5 items in classic and 3 items in amped now. Added an overlay for when the player or robert goes behind walls. Added a new death animation screen. Added a news menu.

Today is a day I have been anticipating for a long time. It's quite shocking that we're already here. I am so happy to announce that Captain Clive is now available to the public, finally. After working on this game for a year, it's turned out to be so much more than I had hoped for. CC:DfD started out as a small project to recreate the ideas of some games that I played when I was a kid but with twists that I had wanted to see in those games. As I worked on the game it became so much more than that. Captain Clive went from being a small project with 2D sprites and an idea of how to combine 2D with realistic 3D lighting to becoming an amazing 10-hour+ game. This game has come so far and I am so thankful to everyone who helped me get this project to where it is. I would like to thank a few people personally who gave insight and great amounts of testing.
