- Improved AI pathfinding + bugfixes - 20 December 2025
Version 1.102 π― Path finding has been improved to allow enemies and summons to more quickly find reasonable paths. π― Fixed an issue that could remove item buffs (such as set bonuses) when using a portal. This bug occurred when the player had too few points in the required skill tree for an item to be valid without considering the skill points provided by other items. For example, it would happen if using a portal with a Flamer that requires 20 points in Vagrantis, when the player had spent 10 points in the Vagrantis skill tree and the remaining 10 points were provided by the other equipped items. π― Fixed an item dupe bug related to the Gambler and Continuum Events.
- Bug fixes - 27 July 2025
Version 1.101 π― Fixed an issue related to the hot key for center auxiliary auto-cast. π― Fixed an incorrect normal map.
- Bug fixes - 2 February 2025
Version 1.100 π― Fixed an issue related to mods and save files. π― Fixed issues with a few normal map.
- Bug fix for the storage on hardcore mode - 20 January 2025
Version 1.099 π― Fixed an issue that caused storage metadata to become overwritten by hardcore storage metadata upon death in the hardcore mode. If this happened to you, you can fix it by restoring ../Data/Save/storage_metadata.sav, from an older backup in ../Data/Save/Backup (or deleting storage_metadata.sav, but this would require you to unlock the tabs again).
- Bug fixes - 15 January 2025
Version 1.098 π― Fixed an issue that caused on-board turrets and tails of Sentinel ships to become invisible for clients when playing multiplayer. This error was introduced by one of the latest patches. Sorry about that! π― Fixed an issue related to unlocked storage tabs getting locked when playing on the hardcore mode.
- In-S Fragment changes + bug fix - 6 January 2025
Version 1.097 π― Some skills provided by the In-S Fragment were previously locked to specific kinds of items (such as Fighter- or sentinel-class ships). This restriction has been removed. π― Fixed a multiplayer issue that caused network errors for clients when playing Warped Continuum Events.
- Buffs to on-board turret range - 29 December 2024
Version 1.096 π― The weapon range cap that previously was employed for on-board ship turrets has been removed. π― Fixed an issue that could cause on-board ship turrets to fail to receive range-related buffs from skills. Merry christmas and a happy new year! /Hannes
- Bug fixes - 12 November 2024
Version 1.095 π― Fixed two issues that could cause a crash on some systems. π― Fixed a race condition that could cause a soft lock.
- Shared quests - 15 September 2024
Version 1.094 π― You can now alter how completed quests should be shared between connected players: 1) When a player completes a quest, the quest is also completed for all other players regardless of their location. 2) A player must be close to the location of the event that triggers completion of a quest for the quest to be considered completed for that player. The default is (1). Previous to this patch, (2) was used. π― Fixed an issue that caused some summoned drones to occasionally ignore their player-given commands.
- Bug fixes - 18 August 2024
Version 1.093 π― Fixed a network client issue that on rare cases could allow clients to open doors that were still closed on server-side. This would enable the client to look through the door as if it was open, but not physically pass through it. π― Fixed an issue related to explosion-type beam weapons. π― The GOG version no longer contains the "Upload to Steam" button.
- Misc update - 25 July 2024
Version 1.092 π― The area right after the first tutorial dungeon has been slightly revised: the exit no longer contains any enemies, which should make it easier to read the plot dialogue. π― The content validation method used to ensure that the client has the same game files as the server has been revised.
- Bullet highlighting - 22 July 2024
Version 1.091 π― You can now highlight bullets. The following options are available: Friendlies, Enemies, All, and None (default). Highlighting is green for bullets fired by friendlies and red for bullets fired by enemies. π― Many popup texts presented in-game are now less distracting (e.g., those presented when toggling auto-casts). In addition, some popups are now completely disabled when the "Show hints and tips" option in the general section of the main menu is unchecked. π― The shader used to highlight items, enemies and bullets has been slightly revised. π― Fixed an issue that caused some tooltip texts to be incorrectly presented when below an active drop-down list.
- Warped Continuum Events Update! - 15 July 2024
Warped Continuum Events The Warped Continuum Event is a new kind of end-game procedural challenge that gets more difficult the further you progress. They are all large enough to accomodate the biggest ships (although some ships modded with the "Big" mod still will require some maneuverability skills :)). As the difficulty of these events for the most part is linearly increased based on how far you progress, there should not be any huge difficulty spikes (such as the difficulty gaps between the Minor, Grand, and Uber Continuum Events). The Warped Continuum Event loot table differs from regular Continuum Events. In particular, they have a higher likelihood of dropping items that add bonus skill points. They are also the only way to gain In-S Fragments, which add bonus skill points to items (you previously had to find an item with bonus skill points and extract the skills through an Ext-Sβ¦
- Bug fix - 24 May 2024

- End-game augments update! - 18 May 2024
Version 1.081 π― SK-1 Augment: Adds bonus skill points to high-level skills. These augments can only be added to ships. The highest tier (dropped in Uber Continuum Events) include bonus skill points to the highest-tiered skills (T7). π― Fixed an issue related to the binding of mouse buttons 3-5 to toggle/autocast keybindings. π― Fixed an issue related to the binding of left/right mouse buttons to some keys.
- Bug fixes - 13 May 2024
Version 1.080 π― Fixed an error in the description for the skill "Not Feeling so Blue". π― Fixed a floating point issue concerning item ship size requirements.
- Misc update - 11 May 2024
Version 1.079 π― You can now dye your Imperius ships. Ships dyed previous to this patch should now have their desired color presented. π― The check boxes in the "General" loot filter tab that toggle the value of different settings for all five tabs have been slightly reworked: they are now checked if at least one the corresponding values in the five tabs is checked. For example, if "Artifact" is enabled in the Ship-tab, but disabled in all other tabs, then "Artifact" in the General tab will be checked. π― Turrets with beam-type weapons no longer lead their shots. π― The loot filter is now disabled when a character slot is deleted (given that the loot filter is kept). π― Fixed several issues that could cause the loot filter UI to contain stale values. This could previously for example occur when switching between characters. π― Fixed several localization issues.
- Imperius ships! - 10 May 2024
Greetings voyagers! One of your most common requests has concerned the addition of Imperius ships. This update (v1.078) includes exactly that: 10 Imperius ship variants! A few of these can drop right from the start of the game, but most are unlocked at around level 20. The added Imperius ships concern the following classes: π― Scout (1) π― Frigate (1) π― Light cruiser (1) π― Heavy cruiser (1) π― Battle cruiser (1) π― Battleship (1) π― Dreadnought (3) Apart from the new ships, this update also includes two balance adjustments: π― On-board ship turrets now disregard weapon warmup time. Among other things, this should fix the issue of "warm-up turrets" not being able to perform well against hordes of low-hull enemies. π― The range of the "Frost Touch" weapon has been increased by 50%. Keep the requests coming! While I do not have the time to answer each request, I do read them all. Thanksβ¦
