  Summer is here and so is a big update to noFrills Solitaire - with more frills than ever - New Features: - a brand new mode "Scorpion" - finally a manual to clarify some obscure options/features - undo and redo buttons in beta stage. for now only available in spider and scorpion mode. Use at your own risk. - 7 new achievements to ease the long stretch from 100 to 500 - more cardbacks as achievement rewards - more music tracks as achievement rewards - changed the shape of clubs to better distinguish from spades - improved colours of hearts and diamonds to make them easier to distinguish - FPS restriction to extend battery life and lower power consumption have fun the CouchFox

• Cardbacks!! - 11 April 2021

  While time flies the CouchFox was busy too - checkout this list of improvements and bugfixes: (if your suggestion is not part of it, stay tuned for the next update - it will also come with more achievement rewards) Improvements: Cardbacks: you can change cardbacks now! to start off there is one new cardback for all players and an extra one to unlock if you win a total of 10 games in any mode cardbacks can be switched on the start page Simplified mode selection: all the modes can now be set and changed from the start page when in spider mode, the pyramid still lets you change the mode directly, but will ask for confirmation Bugfixes: shuffling in Klondike easy-mode now not only shows a pretty animation but actually does shuffle the card stack the pyramid and the gramophone have been rearranged to not interfere with the cards in play in spider mode cards facing down are no longer treated…

• Happy Lunar New Year of the Ox - 11 February 2021

  To celebrate the new Year of the Ox we have a little update to share with you: - a temporary seasonal look to celebrate the beginning of the year of the ox - fixed some rare bugs in spider - added the option to swap aces and free cells in freecell - added achievements for all different game modes Note: to have a clean slate with the newly integrated steam stats for achievements it was necessary to squish all existing stats - and also because there were no separate ones for the different spider modes (due to an unfortunate lack of forsight) .   Due to the addition of two new game modes to the existing Klondike - namely Spider and Freecell - the price of NoFrills Solitaire will be increased as of January 5th 2021. • The big someFrills Update - 13 September 2020

  Not prepared for a klondike as harsh as reality itself? Play "nofrills Klondike" in "somefrills"-mode. This will give you the following new options: choice of 1 or 3 card mode (on game board in the top right corner) option to shuffle remaining cards in stack (on game board in the top left corner) new finish button which appears when all cards are uncovered and on the board (under the gramophone) Additionally the following features have been added: toggle between nofrills and somefrills mode (click the "nofrills" title on the start board) new drag&drop mode toggle between new drag&drop and click mode in settings (cog wheel on the top right of the start board) see your current win numbers on the start page (depending on current game mode)
