  Performance Improvements This was the biggest change that took the past 6 months to implement. The game is extremely optimized and runs much smoother. Latency and lag is reduced tremendously. Servers can now support significantly higher concurrent user counts. This was a HUGE change that may come with a few bugs that need tidying up, but will ultimately lead to more stable and maintainable servers. This is where most of the time was spent in order to prepare for the release to additional platforms and mobile. Matchmaking is much faster. Private matches start alsmost instantly. Party system is more stable. Peak CPU and GPU utilization is reduced by simplifying calculations. Fixed some issues that were causing screen tearing. Improved stats progression The stats page now shows where the user is ranked relative to the rest of the world as well as your progression between matches. Change Us…

  Squashed Bugs Fixed an issue where after purchasing an item, it would appear equipped on your character, but unequipped when a match starts. Now it stays equipped! :) No items were lost, all are in the user's inventory still. Reduced screen tearing and frame spikes significantly. Especially noticeable improvement on Linux systems.

  Squashed the bug where matchmaking would sometimes get canceled even though the cancel button wasn't pressed! Squashed a very small memory leak bug that would occur between scene loads.

  Fixed the bug with matchmaking where users would wait for a match but never connect! There is still another bug where sometimes the matchmaker just stops matchmaking and the user has to restart matchmaking. We are still investigating this one. Keep being awesome you Blocky Ballers! 😎

  HUGE PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS!!! Lag should be reduced tremendously! The back-end had a huge rework. Many small bugs have been fixed making things much smoother. Let me know what you guys think!   Awesome Improvements! - Smoothed out the camera so it no longer jitters / lags at high speeds. - Made the elastic spring visuals smoother. - The elastic goal spring should behave almost the same as it did on the previous physics engine. - Made some modifications to the physics engine to hopefully prevent clipping through the goal.
