- Polyville Canyon v1.2.2 - UI Scaling Option - 29 September 2021
Hello everyone! Small update this time, but important for some of you! You can now scale the UI to roughly 25% of the maximum default size. Visit the Settings > General tab and use the slider to adjust your UI scale. Being a solo developer with limited access to many different kinds of machines and monitors, I am hopeful that it's all well supported with no issues, but please let me know if you have an odd resolution, or something is not quite right and I will look into it as soon as I can! Otherwise, enjoy the less-cluttered view of your Polyville towns! Thanks for playing! Tim @ Henagames
- Polyville Canyon - Neighbor Scenes! - 23 September 2021
Hello Canyoneers! Polyville Canyon v1.2.1 has been released! This update includes a whole new detail to the game while you're in first-person view! Now you'll be seeing all your Neighbors engaged in some sort of activity with all kinds of different items! There are multiple 'scenes' for many items that are randomly selected when you build. Some items do not have scenes, while others have 3 or 4! Can you find them all? See if you can catch the breakdancing battle in the Parking Lots! Or maybe someone's waiting for their date to show up at the Gazebo? Or how about this one dangling from the Treehouse? There are dozens of scenes to discover, so get out there and build, build, build! ------------------------------------- Additional release notes for v1.2.1: - Fixed tracking issue with smaller items and paths - Rescaled the River Cabin to be a 2x2 item - Fixed a few camera clipping issues wh…
- Polyville Canyon v1.2.0 - Quick Roads - 27 August 2021
Greetings, Canyoneers! Polyville Canyon v1.2.0 is now available and includes a number of updates, most notably the new Quick Road system! You've spoken, and I've heard...placing roads tile by tile was a bit frustrating for some players, so a lot of effort has gone into making them much easier to place. The tile-by-tile system is still in place for those little detailed areas you want to build out, but for long stretches of road, it's a simple clickity-click and you're done! CREATING Here's a peek at how this new system works: 1. Select the "Quick Roads" item from the Roads category in the Item Catalog 2. Rotate the road in the direction you'd like to build. Rotate until the arrow is pointing in the correct direction by clicking with the mouse scroll-wheel or the "R" and "T" keys 3. Click to place the 'starting point' of the road, then move to where you want the end and click again 4. Dr…

- Polyville Canyon v1.1.2 Release Notes - 18 June 2021
Changelog Version 1.1.2 - Introduced the new "Mini Item Catalog" - When placing new items from the Item Catalog, a smaller version of it will now show on screen while building that lets you swap for new items without opening the Catalog again. This is extremely helpful when placing roads! - Updated the Neighbor Request UI to provide more feedback when you are in between Request sets. There are only so many Neighbor Requests per level. Previously, the Request button would disappear entirely, but now the button will just fade back with a more informational tooltip letting you know to level up for new requests - Fixed an issue with UI closing/opening in the wrong order when leveling up and completing a Neighbor Request at the same time - Added an item "Size" to the item info screen. Now all items have a size based on the grid, so a "1 x 1" item like the Cozy Starter home, or the Pine Tree…

The UI would become unresponsive until you paused and unpaused the game again with the SPACE BAR - Refactored some other code regarding pausing of the game - Removed horizontal axis from first-person inverted cam. Inverted cam now affects vertical axis only - Added error handling and instructions for dealing with corrupted save files. Corrupted save files are not common in Polyville Canyon. If you are experiencing issues getting stuck on the loading screen, there is a chance your save file has been corrupted. The game will recognize this and automatically create a new save file upon relaunch. - Refactored some code to help prevent any issue related to "Can't select any item". This error seems to have been caused by certain flags…
- Polyville Canyon Changelog for v1.0.3 - 26 May 2021
This update is centered mostly around game feedback to Henagames to help identify and fix some of the remaining issues that players are running into, along with a couple of other quality-of-life updates. - Added a "What's New?" panel on the main menu so that you know what to look for in new versions! - Fixed an issue with resetting Perks. Upon reset using the RESET PERKS button in the Perks view, some players were not given back all of their earned Perk Points. This has been fixed - Changed how the speed setting would reset to default after the Train Arrival.
