For those of you who may not know, a game publisher not only provides funding for developing games that they publish, but also takes care of a lot of the business and marketing that comes with releasing a game. • Devlog - What has changed since the last beta test? - 11 April 2021

  It's been about a month since the last beta test. Here's a summary of all the changes. Thanks to lots of feedback I had a pretty big todo list of things to fix and improve. First I focused on the feedback and bugs then I improved player customization. IMPROVEMENTS New fonts that are more readable. The game will let you know if your version is out of date. Improved grenades. Added UI icons that lead you towards the closest ammo factory and armory. Players had trouble finding ammo factories. Less screen shake. Smarter auto power cabling. Upgrades to buildings are now much better. Upgrade those turrets! Buffed farms. Right mouse button can be used to select things. Game ID is now hidden by default. Better for streamers. Confirmation prompt when quitting the game. Keyboard shortcuts for building. Added some tooltips to help new players. BUGS Fixed the fonts. Many languages had missing chara…

• The Next Beta Test will be April 15th - 19th - 3 April 2021

  Next beta test will be 5 days from April 15th - 19th. If you want to be notified when it starts sign up for the newsletter at https://www.getrevue.co/profile/ennogames Lots of changes have been made since the last playtest. The fonts have been updated to be sure that all languages have no missing characters. Many bugs have been fixed and small improvements have been made. Hotkeys have been added. Two new ships can be bought at the armory. The destroy ship is fast and nimble and can turn very quickly. The frigate ship is a tank. Passive abilities have been added. Directional icons added to the UI help you find the nearest ammo factory and armory.

• Beta Test 1 Complete - 22 March 2021

  Thanks to everyone who played during the beta test. STATS The weekend started with 6,162 people signed up. According to the Steam page analytics 77% of the visitors were from China and 5% from the US. When I started letting players in Friday morning I had no idea what to expect. The game had never been tested with more than 7 players and I had no idea how many of the 6,162 would show up. In the end 840 people played and the game peaked at 27 concurrent players. BUGS Many bugs were found. Thanks for all the reports. There was one really bad bug that kept crashing the servers. It didn't leave any errors in the logs so it was really hard to track down. I spent most of the weekend trying to figure it out and am glad to say I finally know what the issue is and how to fix it. • The Beta Test has Begun! - 19 March 2021

  The beta test has begun! Everyone who signed up should be in. Please let me know what you think of the game. If you're a Youtuber, Streamer or Press there's no embargo on the game. Please cover it as much as you would like. The North America and Europe servers are doing well but for some reason the Asia server has had a few crashes. I'm looking into it.

• Beta Test 1 - 10 March 2021

  Want to try out Sky Fleet? March 19 - 21 will be a free open beta test. Sign up through Steam's playtest feature. We'll be seeing what people think of the game, stress testing the servers and finding bugs. Quite a few people have already signed up. Starting March 19th at 10am PST I'll be slowly letting people in until the servers are full. Hopefully that will include everyone who signed up. If you don't get in this first playtest there should be a few more before the game is released. Thanks for testing! See you in the game.
