Bravers is back! Sorry for the long radio silence - we've been heads-down making the game the way it deserves to be. Today we're happy to finally share the release date: January 25, 2027. Bravers is about your ship, your crew, and an underground world born from the Great Impact. Build your ship block by block, recruit a crew, fight to survive, and explore what's left of humanity below the surface. If you like what we're building, tell a friend - it genuinely makes a difference for a small team like ours. Bug FixesThe ship now comes to a full stop (0 km/h) outside the dock. The tutorial quest Experimental Acceleration now completes correctly after saving and reloading. Moving a booster in the Shipyard no longer duplicates the block in the control list. Long text in modal windows, dialogues and encounters is no longer cut off. The crew no longer auto-repairs blocks and wastes Scrap right after leaving the dock. Completed quests are no longer stuck pinned in the HUD after loading a save. Skills can no longer be bought past their max level (the tooltip now shows "MAX"). Lowering music volume to 0 no longer mutes weapon and combat sounds. We want to say "Thank you" to our Bravers community for the feedback we got about the demo version of Bravers. We have worked hard to prepare an updated demo version for you to play. And today, we are happy to announce it is available on Steam for everyone. Build points We like creativity, but we also believe having 5 turrets is not the same as having 5 storage blocks. Even if you have enough resources, you cannot build a ship with 10 turrets and go for revenge. Each block now has its own cost in build points. You receive building points with levels or through skills and perks. So plan accordingly. Save system We know you have been waiting for it. Now you can save your game at any time and then resume later on. Do not forget we have some sort of permadeath system in place. An updated demo version is available now on Steam ːsteamhappyː Performance We are sorry :weary: if FPS issues made an impact on your game experience with Bravers demo. It is gone now. We worked hard for the last week to identify the problem and work on the solution. We got at least 2 times increase in performance in the worst case scenarios. In most cases, it is 3 to 5 times (Alex said it could be 20 times higher...). Now you are limited to your refresh rate, not the hardware. Crew Positions We know. Hello Bravers! We are excited to announce Bravers will be part of the Steam Game Festival. We will be providing a free demo that will give you an early look before the release later this year. Demo Details The demo will give you a good overview of some of the Bravers features. We prepared a short quest line for you to follow. It will show some of the game locations and will (hopefully) keep you busy. Remember, some locations are not part of the quest line, so keep exploring. There would be limited numbers of ship blocks available in Bravers demo, including engines, storage, steering, and booster. But every Braver needs a good weapon. We included 6 weapon blocks in demo.
