- Slow foot - 7 September 2026
August was lean on events. We did some code/content work, and registered for Steam Next Fest in October 2026.Otherwise, it was mostly chilling for us, as you can see. But anyway, here is what changed exactly:new chart type: bar charts. you can toggle type by clicking the chart.source types: bar charts display how much energy is from solar, wind, and fossil fuels to help you better monitor & adjust grid. This works for Big chart and individual substations.upgrade to increase number of ports (connections) at substation.fixed minor text, color and button functions / tooltipsDemo got new build with charts & bug fixes. There is plan to get more changes in next update, which will be last one scheduled before Next Fest starts.
- Bug report - 11 August 2026
Hi there, big bug is not what was planned to write now, but life goes like that. It only affected new players (for demo that means nearly everybody). When starting campaign for the first time, instead of first mission info there was placeholder text and image. This probably cost us a lot of players, cause not many people want to play "Lorem ipsum" mission. Anyway, it is fixed now with latest update and here are other things that changed during July:new Challenge type gameplay - basicly Free play with constraintsheat cogeneration - a way to lower costs or earn some more - for late game (not in demo)hydro power and water flow in weather (most of this later game, part of challenge in demo)secondary chart type - now only for batteries as "current charge" levelnew larger citizen buildingsplants growth based on current temperaturenew energy storage types - for late game only, not in demopriori…
- Ready for the summer ? - 1 July 2026
Hi grid builders!Another busy month is behind us and current heat wave is not helping. But it was an inspiration to one new feature: now you can upgrade customers' structures with air conditioning and some other appliances. Use this to change to energy profile that better fits your grid setup, or just up the consumption for more earnings.Other features that were implemented:use right mouse button to reposition all related structures at once (e.g. substation with all its customers)commodities now have dynamic prices respecting seasonalityimplemented batteries self-dischargegenerator idle power (minimum that power plant generates even if not required)power plant blocks - that can be turned off when idlechanged internal simulation computations - this is not very visible to player but it helped resolve some bugsother minor bug fixes not related to simulationDemo was updated with all the feat…
- Good news everyone! Demo is out. - 3 June 2026
And that could be whole content of this post. What to say more?Demo is generally current state of the game at the time of writing. Less some later-game content (that was already made). Also hierarchical grid features, that were mentioned in previous post, were not needed for demo campaign and so were omitted. From now on, most effort goes to final game. But do not worry, demo will get updates. With bug fixes primarily. And if we find some way of using new mechanic in limited scope of demo, it will be added there too.So stay tuned for updates.
- April progression - 5 May 2026
Hi grid architects! We are again experimenting with store capsule. Hope this one will better represent game essence. But most effort had gone towards new mission system. And that is finished, together with first 5 missions of Tutorial. Here is shot from briefing screen before first mission:Also testing and bugfixing was done in plenty. And partly remains to be done more of that until demo is finished. And setting up demo on separate page - we want reviews and feedback. And doing all that not-so-funny stuff compared to pure development. Still better for game than feature creeping. But generally things are going good, no milestones pushed to the future. All right, enough chatter, back to work now ...
- What was done in march - dev update - 7 April 2026
Hi electricity fans! Another month has passed and we're here to report on that. No screenshots this time, because most of the work was done "under the hood". Things like load & save, game settings, menu items and similar. Steam integration has begun and we have added first achievements and prepared for cloud storage. Last but not least, mission system is now in design phase and will be under construction during next couple of weeks. It will be used for tutorial campaign in the demo.Oh, one more change comes to mind. We are experimenting with the design of store page. It is used as cover image of this announcement - for record. Previous capsule visual is included at the end of this note. All right, that is all for now. See you next time!
- Development Update – What’s New? - 3 March 2026
Hello grid builders! It’s been quite busy month since we launched our “Coming Soon” page! February is shortest one of the whole year, but we manage to squeeze reasonable amount of work from it. New grid elements have been added to available building arsenal - Distribution Substation and High Voltage Lines. This allows hierarchical structure of the grid, which was previously unavailable. Older screenshots show typical single central point of grid that was the only option until now.Endless scrolling build bar becomes unpractical as more and more content is piling up. So UI gets minor redesign focused on build & stat bars to remain organized. Check included screenshot for a sneak peek at what’s coming.Stay tuned—more updates are on the way!
