- Skyclimbers Beta: Sentius Preview - 9 July 2026
A fresh design overhaul for the Drakonian Starter Sentius just in time for Beta. Starters Overhaul This quarter we have an update on the monsters of Skyclimbers, known as Sentius! Sentius are elemental creatures that can be captured throughout the overworld. Unlike other monster taming games, where each starter typically has a different type, all Skyclimbers starters begin with the elemental type of the player's chosen Dynasty. For example, Drakonian starters all begin as 🔥Magma type. However, each Sentius has a unique final form, and most will gain a secondary type as they evolve. In Beta, you will choose your starter Sentius during character creation, and they will stand by you from the beginning of each playthrough. The second and third evolution stages will be revealed closer to the Beta release!Raikit, the tiger inspired Sentius, evolves into the formidable Raion as its final form.…
- Skyclimbers Update: The Road to Beta - 31 March 2026
We’re excited to share a major update on the development of Skyclimbers! After multiple delays, we have decided to reduce the scope of Early Access to expedite release, while still delivering a strong foundation of content. Deep Forest Jarl, Warg, and Mage classEarly Access was initially planned to ship with three playable dynasties: Drakonian, Foryoku and Rokkuhito. Instead, each Dynasty has now been fragmented into multiple unique Districts. Early Access will be limited to the Drakonian Dynasty, featuring multiple unique playable Districts. Jarls control each District, and your relation to them will dictate diplomacy. Deep Forest District Jarl on the left, Coastal Meadow District to the right. Rivalries between districts will lead to conflicts that you can resolve through one of three methods: diplomacy, trade, or warfare. This District dynamic is bound to each biome, which will be a…

- Skyclimbers 2024 Update - Part 2 - 24 October 2024
Welcome to part 2 of the Skyclimbers 2024 update! Make sure to read part 1 first... Each class has multiple weapon types and unique combos. The Paladin can wield a variety of melee weapons, including swords, spears, axes, and hammers. Each weapon type has its own attack speed, range, and durability. One-handed weapons allow players to carry a shield for defense, while two-handed weapons offer more power but leave players vulnerable during attacks. Most weapons will degrade over time, encouraging reliance on smiths to maintain a robust armory. Players will need to strategize carefully, managing their loadouts or adapting to the weapons they come across the world. While the Paladin has access to class-specific arms, the game also features common melee weapons that can be wielded by any class. Your militia is made of units trained with one of three sub-classes. As your village grows, you’l…
