Ready for Halloween, we have released the official OST of Dap on Steam. Dap Soundtrack takes you on a journey from relaxing ambience through to high level intensity and back to blissful peace. Enjoy Dap's unique mix of weirdness, beauty and fear in 32 tacks of ambient music. - First small update (Dap 1.0.1) - 23 October 2021
As we are nearing one month of Dap, we have put out a small update of minor bug fixes. The game has been quite stable which we are happy with of course but if you do come across any bugs or crashes, don't hesitate to let us know! Thank you to everyone for playing Dap and supporting us. Every review means a lot! Fixes include: - Fixed bug that won't allow use of the energy blast ability when switching mouse buttons. - Fixed visual bug on reloading last save file. - Fixed bass levels on a couple of sound tracks.

Remember those wee forest spirits - Kodama, if you're fancy - from Princess Mononoke? Well, imagine them at the centre of a Pikmin-like horror action-adventure game and you've got Dap. It's an upcoming PC game that lands on Steam on September 29. The game tasks you with gathering and protecting a pack of fragile pals that are called Daps. Something "incomprehensible" and "sinister" has slithered into their forest from a crack in reality, so it's your job to guide them home through a faintly illuminated, crunchy pixel art world filled with threats, puzzles, and an infection that'll turn your glowing white companions into something haunted if you let it. We're super excited to announce that Dap will be coming to Steam Q3 2021! We have just launched a new atmospheric trailer showing off mood and gameplay! - Demo Update 0.50 - 23 May 2021
Dap Dap! Our latest demo update has some substantial changes. We've made some changes to the way the story is delivered, added some ways to make the tutorial a bit clearer, expanded our forests to make them more foresty, and made the prison a bit more scary. We're continuously working on finishing the game and getting the right tone for everything, making the ending feel correct, and teaching the mechanics to new players in the most subtle ways we can. Dap is a top-down action-adventure game with horror elements about gathering a following of cute and creepy little creatures called Daps. Fight monstrous creatures and solve puzzles, discover a lush atmospheric forest full of secrets and oddities, and try to avoid the deadly infection which turns your creatures into monsters. Or take a break from the action and tend to your garden in the Spirit world while you unravel the secrets of Dap’s world.
