Together with Kazuhira Hatanaka and Ryuo Nakano, they have created the Soul Uplink, a device that uploads people’s souls to a digital world known as the Datascape. However, upon the first official test of the device, Nona finds something in the Datascape that shouldn’t be there; something that gives her a feeling of dread that she could lose all she holds dear.
