  • Steam Next Fest Demo Rerun - 14 June 2022

Hello all! It's been quiet on the updates front, but things are moving forward! Remembering the fun we had during Steam Next Fest last October, we decided to join in on this latest Steam Next Fest, and re-release the demo (the same demo as before - the main build is going through so many changes right now it wouldn't be feasible to make a new demo out of it, alas)! It will be downloadable until the end of this Steam Next Fest (so until the 20th of June!). Enjoy! https://i.imgur.com/P69n6KU.png Hope you're all having a wonderful summer!

  • C.L.A.Y. The Moving City - A narrative artbook KICKSTARTER - 15 February 2022

Hello friends! Aside from being hard at work on the game, we've also been hard at work on a kind of parallel project - namely an art book, featuring a lot of the same art that will be seen in the game! The Kickstarter launched today, and will run for 20 days - and one of the pledge levels will let you pre-order C.L.A.Y.: The Last Redemption (and get a super cool, and very exclusive, art book)! Your support would mean the world to us. LINK - C.L.A.Y. • Steam Next Fest Demo Extended - 8 October 2021

Steam Next Fest has ended, but we've decided to keep the demo up over the weekend, to give everyone who downloaded it but didn't have time to play it a chance to check it out! (so please check it out, before it disappears!) We would love for more feedback. If you have any Let's Plays or demo reviews, we'd be extremely glad for a link or a head's up in the Steam forums, our Discord, or why not on Twitter? Oh, and if you missed our livestream, we put it up on YouTube, right over here:

  • Demo Patch 0.24 - 1 October 2021

Hello earliest of early birds! We released a tiny patch today for the demo of CLAY, addressing some niggling issues some early testers had. These include: - Better support for 16:10 aspect ratios (no more buttons flying around) - The ombrascope no longer overflows with glyphs - A sneaky bug that could happen if you press space in the wrong place Also some minor graphical fixes, including: - borders of items are now more visible - the "amount" text when moving items for the first time is now actually visible - dialog box no longer overlaps with regular text box And a few other bits and bobs here and there. As always, if you have any questions or problems, do let us know :) (Steam might take a moment to update the demo - you'll know it's the right version when it says 0.24 in the main menu)

  • The Tribe - 14 December 2020

The Elbéar consider themselves the One Tribe, which all humans in the City belong to. Although there are other groups out there, the Elbéar see them all as temporary off-shoots, and when the day comes and the City begins moving again, they will all join together once more into a single caravan. Currently, the Elbéar make their home in the Corral – the ancestral home of the tribe, where every clan has its own assigned Stack and every street and square has a name passed down through the generations. https://64.media.tumblr.com/5220d0915a7383ce4b5fa5276b5a4e8d/e22505ce93107783-02/s1280x1920/cbfa611355aff9ce43eeabff45083b810899ddae.png The Elbéar are led by the chieftain – a man or woman with the skills and will needed to lead the tribe and to help them survive in a City that often seems to actively want to harm them. Whenever necessary, the Council of Elders - the matriarchs and patriarchs…

Welcome to this series of blog posts about the world of C.L.A.Y. – The Last Redemption! In it, we will talk about various aspects of the world and what you can expect to find during your time with the game. The intention isn’t to spoil the story (and in fact there won’t be much talk about the story!): rather they will be appetizers, a way to whet your appetite in the long wait for the finished game. In order to maintain some of the mystery of the world, not everything in these blog posts will necessarily be entirely true. They do represent what you, the player character, would know about the world – although written in a way to be more accessible to the casual reader. Still…
