  Hey everyone! The time is finally here! We're kicking off the Steam Winter Sale with the final release of Siege the Day! Arm your catapults!!! We've got updates to visuals and aesthetics while others involve more technical aspects like balancing and bug fixes. Visual Changes The Ui has now been redesigned. Some buttons are now grouped together while others have changed their positions for a better user experience. Options that are not essential to the gameplay can also now be removed through the settings menu. Since creating a perfect castle is not an easy task, we've made some updates to the Editing Mode. Shortcuts were added while others were removed. Descriptions have also been added for each item. Now, you can tell at a glance if your fortifications, weapons, or troops are taking damage with a color indicator. Non interactive icons have been moved to the right side of the screen. Ea…

• Phase Events! - 3 December 2021

  With the arrival of version 0.86 we bring in… the Phase Events! During every phase of the battle there is a 50% chance that an event may take place. Some of these events are more dangerous and have a bigger impact in the game than others. These events are: Night - Day Armageddon Looters Mana Stasis Mana Flux Gold Vein Mist Ghost Archers Ghost Ship The Conscription Some of these may happen more frequently than others. For example the Night/Day shift will happen more times than Ghost Ship. What are these Phase Events? As we said before during a phase there is a chance one of the events will be activated. During Armageddon random fireballs will fall from the sky damaging you and your enemy. Mana Flux will increase the flow of mana in the game thus letting you activate spells faster.   Updates for version 0.85.2 include some issues that players reported and also some new build elements: Animated Banners All banners now have wind animation and look awesome! Bug Fix: Spell and Ammo Buildings Placement Issue We have fixed the placement issue that some players reported with some of the game buildings.   Updates for version 0.85 More things have changed and been adjusted with this version. *First of all we have added a settings button in the tutorial in order to change any inputs you want. *Secondly we have buffed the archers a little bit. Now they shoot faster and their arrows travel with more speed. *At the start of each match the Cooldown Time of all weapons is set at 10 seconds. After that they use their natural Cooldown Time. Also Level 1 and Level 2 weapons’ Cooldown Time has been decreased for faster battles. *The Battering Ram will now wait for your command to begin attacking.   First, we want to thank you all for your feedback. We are working hard to make the game as good as can be. In this update we changed/added couple of things like: 1) Added the Replay Tutorial button in the settings menu in case you want to play it again. 2) Added a switch button on the top left corner in Editor Mode which will disable all the locked items so you can have a better and faster build time 3) Minor bug fixes Bigger update will come mid next week with many changes and optimizations. • Siege The Day Latest Updates (v. 0.73) - 1 October 2021

  Siege The Day updates for the latest version Prior to the release we have made some more adjustments to the game. Most of them have to do with the visual aspect of the game and less with the gameplay. First of all the gameplay change has to do with the troops and how they behave. During our playtests we saw that players rarely use the manual behavior for the troops. So we removed the manual use and adjusted their behavior. From now on when a troop is spawned it will check your base based on its radius for enemy troops. If there are any it will attack them and if not, it will proceed to attack enemy’s structures or troops based on its targets. We didn’t want troops to stay idle when they could not find any targets, so from now on if there are no more “valuable enemy structures” for the troop to destroy it will attack walls until everything is destroyed! • Siege The Day 0.7 update - 25 July 2021

  UI First of all the UI of the game has been redesigned so the basic screen is much more “tidied up”. On the left side we have the players stats on the top and at the bottom all the extra buttons. In the middle we only have the BATTLE button and on the right we have the FRIENDS-LIST and the newly added WORLD CHAT. On the Settings screen we have added the option to enable or disable the WORLD CHAT and added the much asked about INPUTS option. From there every player can customize the key-binds for the game-play and edit mode. EDIT MODE The Edit Mode has also been revamped following the style of the new UI. The new version is much more appealing to the eye with brighter colors and cleaner lines. Changes have also been made for some units and categories.
