- Update v1.070 (Physics + Balancing) - 6 March 2022
This update adds a simple physics engine into the game. When I first began designing this game I wanted to focus on performance and having an additional iteration of calculations was why it was never considered. However, after implementing and testing the physics system, I think the sacrifice in performance was worth it. The physics adds a new dynamic to the game which gives the player more control over situations. Using the hero, the player can move monsters by walking into them, which can help with surviving in those time-crucial moments. Having physics also helps alleviate the overlapping of monsters by causing them to spread out. Misc Changes Fixed issues with associated with increasing speed of the game and intersections of high speed projectiles. Fixed an issue with saving and resuming a map on normal difficulty that caused the towers to not work anymore. Redesigned the level dial…

- v1.061 Update - 12 October 2021
Hard Difficulty can be accessed now without having to beat the last level. Fixed the tutorial which was trying to upgrade into a tower no longer available.
- Update v1.060 (Game Balancing) - 5 October 2021
Tower Balancing It is now easier to get the different types of towers earlier in the game. The price of all towers has been reduced significantly and all damage has been reduced accordingly. You no longer have to upgrade base towers to level 3 to get the next types of towers for that base. This means you will be upgrading, building, and expanding quickly as the level progresses. Passives A new Passive Tree has been added to the game which gives minor upgrades to towers, heroes, and misc things. You earn 1 point for each level on normal mode and 3 points on hard. Other Noteworthy Changes Heroes can now take damage from monsters and will die if health reaches zero. They will have a minute downtime and be resurrected at the command center. Only ground monsters that do not cast anything will attack the hero. Lightning towers now "shock" monsters which increases damage taken for a very short…

Fixed the label for the hero scientist in the hero selection screen (no longer coming soon...) Clicking on a monster's name in the side panel will now show the description dialog for additional information. This update makes some changes to how the camera operates. The most notable change is the camera can zoom out allowing the player to see the entire level. There are also changes to how the camera will move when using the mouse so it is more stable. Hotkeys have also been added for the camera's zoom and movement. Previous Maximum…

- Steam Achievements - 10 June 2021
Hello! A little update has been posted which adds steam achievements to the game. Some of the achievements are easy to unlock, simply playing the game and beating levels. While other achievements may take some thought and time.. Either way, enjoy playing and have fun!
- Update v1.040 (Heroes) - 11 April 2021
This update introduces heroes into the game who give an little extra help to each level when used. Currently, there are two different heroes, each a set of skills that are unlocked by gaining experience and leveling up. The soldier can use a concussion grenade to daze monsters temporarily. The engineer can buff towers temporally making them much more powerful. Please note that the heroes are not final and things will change in the near future. The interface for hero selection is a prototype and will be overhauled soon but I wanted to get a testing version out so I can get feedback on the heroes!
- Update v1.0340 -- Shortcuts (aka Hotkeys) - 14 February 2021
Added a new system for shortcuts to allow the player to do some of the basic functions in game by pressing a key instead. The current release maps all the main buttons, such as Pause/Resume, Speed control, Rushing and building new towers. The shortcuts can be remapped to different keys by opening the settings window and clicking the Shortcuts tab. In addition to the shortcuts, I also added a minor feature for placing multiple towers by holding down shift while placing. This will allow you to move the tower around without dragging and will allow you to build by clicking the left mouse button and will setup a new placement of the same tower type so you can quickly plan/build many towers.
- Update v1.0330 - 12 February 2021
Replaced Monster Textures for Demon, Crow, Rat, and Dog... which look much better than the placeholder textures that were being used. The Hound Master (Summoner) will now summon a dog every half second instead of all at once. And a few bug fixes...

Fixed the dragon's fire ability not rendering. Loading Screen has been redone to be more simple looking. Patch 1.030 introduced the editor as a main feature and this last month has been dedicated to getting certain quality of life features implemented into the editor. I still have plans to add some more features into the editor while improving on some of the current features. I may also return to the editor to redo the interface but this isn't a high priority at the moment. I did manage to make a few videos on how to use the editor…
- Update v1.0310 (Editor Access) - 31 January 2021
This update enables access to the editor and some other features previously unavailable! These features are still in development but are stable enough for testing and feedback. Editor The editor is a tool that can be used to create custom levels. This has been in development for a little while now and contains many features to allow for customization. Tutorials on how to use some of these advanced features will be coming soon. You can find the videos on the official forums if you are interested. Desktop users will have access to the "Towers" map which is a level that has all the towers and can be opened in the editor so you can test stuff out yourself. - Audio Update! - 15 December 2020
With my first initial release on steam, most of the feedback was about sound and why there was none! Adding sounds was always on the list of things to do but I needed to figure out how best to implement it. My original thought was it would be nearly impossible to distinguish between the sounds once the level had a lot of towers and effects in play. After some thought, I was able to implement a system where sound effects are played based upon the camera, which also led to performance improvements! Currently, most towers have a sound effect which is played when selecting it or after construction is complete. Also, most monsters have a sound effect which is played also when selecting it or when special type of waves occur. Finally, a lot of towers have a sound effect that is played when it fires a projectile. As time goes on, I will add and improve the sounds played. Also, I was able to ad…
