  Version 1.2 of Throw Me in the River has been released! Here are the patch notes for this update: A couple new optional dialogue sequences that increase replayability and deepen character relationships have been added. These sequences are small but intimate, and don't lead to an increase in the game's overall length A new concept art / drafts gallery has been added to the 1943 Gallery New commentary has been added to multiple commentary galleries, diving into methods I use when creating stories and more of the history behind the game jam version of Throw Me in the River Improved gallery functionality / UI Additionally, for the next week you can purchase Throw Me in the River for only $0.51 USD! • Version 1.1 Released! - 13 October 2020

  Version 1.1 of Throw Me in the River has been released! Here are the patch notes for this update: Throw Me in the River now supports Mac OS 10.6 or later, both in 32 bit and 64 bit. If a warning displays informing you that it may not run because your operating system is 64 bit, you can ignore it and run the game anyway (Mac dropped support for 32 bit in recent versions of OS X but the game still runs). Improved the pacing of the final scenes in the game Increased the speed at which characters enter and exit the car Fixed some minor typos Thank you all for the support and look forward to more updates that, like with the Mac release, increase the game's accessibility! -Reis Mahnic (Side Group)

  Throw Me in the River is now available! Throw Me in the River is a visual novel about a man experiencing his family relationships through a state of compressed time. In Throw Me in the River, each scene takes place 20 years apart and examines the state of Joseph's life in Canada at that time through conversations he has with his various family members. This unique narrative eschews genre tropes and embraces the weird. There's not much out there like it. For more information, visit Side Group's website.
